Good morning jada!

 

I bring greetings from the original OPPM haters.

A brief history of evil:

The tale of OPPM as a full blown entity began in the summer of 2002. This was before Sar-Tamber-Lac had admitted to herself that she wanted to be Canadian, so there were often lively discussion, involving throwing various things at each other. In the course of one discussion, we managed to get the one post per minute error five messages in a row. We decide to quit bickering over the Canadian thing and just gang up on the infernal error. Tammy decided that she was sick of typing out One Post Per Minute every time, and declared that it would henceforth be referred to as OPPM.

After a while, we noticed that almost every thread was just becoming an OPPM hate fest, so we decided to have an official thread for it.

ACG also has the distinction of having the first OPPM sock, which was (creatively), OPPM. This sock terrorized the general population for a few weeks before it was finally revealed to be Tammy.

We're all rather amazed at how far our little ACism has spread.

What's OPPM ?

 

Strangely enough... Denver has been complaining about OPPM (though we had not given it a name until our RSA began using the title) for a very long time... But we are posting menaces, so it became an issue for us a long time ago

 

That's why we gave it a name in ACG. We didn't get the highest post count in Canada by posting slowly.
