Here's a Question for everyone.....

    Why do they have a reserve amount for people selling stuff on Ebay? Why wouldn't the seller just start the auction at the minimum price they're willing to accept?

    Because you might not want to buy an autographed photo of the guy who was the third jawa on the right at Tatooine if the starting price is $25.00

    If they start it at .25 cents, people are more apt to bid. ;)

    All right, that's fair enough, but why must they hide the reserve price.

    Because if they showed you it, you'd say <TOS VIOLATION> that! I can get it cheaper. ;)

    I know nothing about eBay. I don't use it. My family does, but I don't.
