Salisb, NC HEROES CONVENTION June 19-21 (Father's Day Weekend)

HEROES CONVENTION was founded in 1982 by Shelton Drum, owner of Charlotte's Heroes Aren't Hard To Find comics shop. Since then the convention has become famous for its comics-first and family-friendly atmosphere, where fans can mingle directly with professionals and exhibitors. Boasting an incredible guest list built mainly on reputation and goodwill, HeroesCon is known nationwide as a "must" on the summer schedule, drawing fans, exhibitors, and creators from every region of the country to the Charlotte Convention Center.

HeroesCon is also the home of Indie Island, a 10,000+ square foot section in the middle of the convention, dedicated to indie and alternative comics creators and publishers. Since its founding in 2005, Indie Island has quickly become one of the preeminent alternative comics gatherings in the country.

I would be up for riding together, how long do you plan on staying? I have a birthday party to go to at 7.

 

We will leave here in AM 9 AM or 10 AM - pick you up and leave at 5 PM at the latest (Mabe 4 though!). We have a game to go to that night. Josh, Ethan and my neighbor Todd are going to. Shoot me easy directions from here to your house to pick you up. Our schedule is open se if needed we can go and leave whenever! I might go on Friday too (OFF this week)

 

From your house take 85 south,
go to the Concord/Kannapolis exit (58 I believe)
This will put you on 29.
stay straight on 29 until you pass a Super K-mart,
after passing the super K-Mart get into the left lane,
when you get to a big church on the left(should be concord first assembly) bear to the left at the church.
goto the next light and go straight onto 601 south.
stay on 601 south until you see family video, the next rd on the right after family video is Zion Church, turn right.
stay on Zion Church until you see the Southern Chase subdivision on the right, turn right.
turn right at the first street.
goto a 4 way stop, go straight.
the next street on the right will be rockingham Ln, turn right.
follow the rd around till it starts back uphill, i am the white two story house mid way up on the right.

Hey guys, I'm so sorry to have missed you at HC. I was sick with a fever. I hate that I missed this because I didn't get a chance to really visit with Rip at ConCarolinas.

My hubbie and I want to do a viewing party of ESB later this summer. I'll let you all know when it is and maybe you could come. It will be in Mooresville.
