Since last night's premiere, I've been scouring the 'net to find some cool Heroes sites!
Here's what I've come up with:

    The best ones I've found:

    http://www.9thwonders.com/
The Official/Unofficial Heroes Fan Site made by the shows creators. You may also recognize the title from the premiere last night as it is also the name of the comic Hiro was reading in the previews for next week's episode!

    http://www.heroes-tv.com/modules/news/
    Great fan site

And these are pretty cool, too!:

    http://www.heroesmedia.com/
    http://www.heroestheseries.com/
    http://www.heroes-forum.com/

And an interesting article from Herosmedia.com regarding last's night's ratings:

Heroes did spectacularly in the ratings!

At 9 p.m. ET, the debut of "Heroes" (5.9 rating, 14 share in 18-49, 14.3 million viewers overall) delivered NBC's highest 18-49 for any fall drama premiere in five years (since "Crossing Jordan" on Monday, Sept. 24, 2001). "Heroes" soared above the time period competition in the key demographic of adults 18-49, with a 31 percent margin of victory over second place (5.9 vs. a 4.5 for CBS' comedies). Pending updates, "Heroes" also won the hour in total viewers, among adults, men and women 18-34 and other key measures.

"Heroes" was up 48 percent versus NBC's 2005-06 season average in the time period, excluding sports (5.9 vs. 4.0). From its first half-hour to its second, "Heroes" grew by 13 percent (to a 6.3/15 from a 5.6/14) and by 1.1 million viewers overall.

Pending updates, "Heroes" is within one tenth of an 18-49 rating point of the highest rating so far this fall for any new series premiere, close behind Sunday's debut of "Brothers & Sisters" on ABC. By comparison, "Brothers & Sisters" benefited from a 9.6 lead-in rating in 18-49 from "Desperate Housewives," while "Heroes'" had a 3.8 rating lead-in last night.

Of course, the TRUE test will be to see if the show can hang on to these types numbers thoughout the rest of the season, but it's off to a good start I'd say!

I'm pretty sure someone else was reading it as well in this episode. I think it was the boy, but I don't remember where he was reading it - I think it was in the school he went to.

I guess there's some spoilers that were stated for the show on E news the other night (yes, I heard them). All I can say is, don't forget to watch the show the next two weeks...its shaping up to be really interesting!!!

Ok show of hands! Who remembered to watch this last night??? I thought it was freaking awesome! I can't wait til next week...this is the first show to actually make me want to watch again and again week after week (usually the shows are good, but only if I have the DVDs to watch them on...this one is definitely worth the surprise!).

[raises hand] Ms. Clifton! Ms. Clifton! Ms. Clifton! Ms. Clifton! Ms. Clifton! Ms. Clifton! Ms. Clifton! Ms. Clifton! <-- Not needed Family Guy moment... Sorry.

But I did watch Heros, and I can't wait for next week. But at least now we know who wins the election! But Hiro's friend saying he hadn't seen him in 5 weeks? I must have missed the explination on that one.

It was because Hiro jumped forward in time, as well as passing to New York. And I wouldn't count on knowing who wins the election...any action by Hiro in the "present" may cause a change in the future...That's one thing I've learned by watching Back to the Future. And the episode when Homer goes to prehistoric times.

Yeah, plus there's the whole thing about Hiro saying it was October 2nd, but the policeman saying it was like the second week of november (hence the election being over). Of course I think you were up to that part when I called you last night, so I'll forgive you this once...:p

OK, had to get to the bottom of this once-and-for-all so here it is (thanks to IMDB).
Nikki's husband D.L. and the "mind-wipe" guy hanging out with with the cheerleader's dad
    are NOT the same character/actor.

    D.L. (a.k.a Riley's friend from Buffy Season 4) = Leonard Roberts
    "Mind-Wipe Guy" = Jimmy Jean-Louis

Check out the 2 different guys at the bottom of the Heroes cast list here:

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0813715/

Well, guess that settles that! But heck, what do I know, those bald black guys all look look the same to me!
    ;)

Thing is, you don't necessarily know that mindwiper guy has only ONE power...hence why I figured maybe he has a few and WAS Nikki's husband. Also, just because he uses his "mind control" to wipe minds doesn't mean he can't make someone think that they didn't see him.

Also, is DL's power to hide in plain sight? Seems to me maybe he can phase thru walls or merge into the house or shadows or something...Interesting, to be sure, but we're gonna have to keep an eye on him to see...

Well, we already had a guy who can read minds, so we needed a little girl who can walk through walls. Only, this time, instead of Kitty Pride, we got a large, intimidating ex-fellon on the run from the law. ;-P

Yeah, I was more on the side of phasing through walls. Hadn't considered invisibility, though I admit it's an interesting notion.

yep, since invisibility would definitely help an ex con on the run from being found...
