An absence of BSG this week is not noticed, as this episode of "Heroes" was freakin' sweet!

Chapter 14: Distractions

Hiro faces down with his father and sister, and manages to find a solution to both his and the family's immediate problems. George Takei is awesome and menacing despite his few scenes, and Hiro's reaction to Ando's comments about the sister at the end is great.

Niki and Doctor Oprah have their first session to draw Jessica out. Stupid Doctor Oprah, calling down the thunder like that... Despite the fact that all the charges against her are dropped in this episode (thank you Mr. Linderman's rather large lawyer) Niki does remain locked up. On the other side of the glass.

Sylar gets out, and immediately starts hunting down Claire, involving some very creepy scenes between Sylar and Mrs. Bennett. What's great; how they keep managing to not tell us Mr. Bennett's first name. What's also great is when he blows Sylar the frak away! Mr. Bennett also seems to know about Peter's new friend, Claude.

Speaking of Claude, he's started Peter's training. He believes that Peter's got too many distractions to use his powers effectively. This basically means Christopher Eccleston can be cool, punch people and throw them off buildings for an episode. Oh yeah...

Isaac spends the episode using his powers to hunt down Peter to try and stop him from going nova. I'm glad that they actually used Isaac properly for an episode.

Finally, Claire meets her real mother. Turns out there's a reason that she also survived the fire, and it makes Claire's powers make a whole lot more sense.

Oh yeah, and who's her daddy? That would be telling...

Can someone tell me where this "wireless girl" i hear people talking about is? I've sen her clips over on the heroes site but I can't find her in the eps i downloaded

I have all the episodes except 14 (getting now) so if someone can give me the episode number and time.

Well she's not been in it as at Episode 12, so she's probably going to show up later in the Season.

The clips online must be teasers/tasters...

Anyhoo, I've seen up to 14 and I do not know who this wireless person is? Thus maybe later than that???

 

The new character you refer to hasn't turned up in Episode 14 either, so I dunno when they are supposed to make their first appearance.

There's some new comics online though. I'll check those out when I have a chance.

yeah, turns out so far there have been 4 graphic novels about her on the nbc site. She's coming up in future episodes.

Ep 14 was frakin' sweet. Magnus has already summed up my thoughts on it. Eccelston's character is fantastic (*groan* ) and Sylar remains as scary as he ever was.


And did anyone else spot what it said on George Takei's number plate?

IC and I were discussing this today, regarding Ep 15:

Parkman hears both Jessica and Niki (in the stairwell). So there's 2 separate thought patterns/brainwaves in action there. Interesting too was Jessica's reaction that Matt could hear Niki.
