It takes a very special arachnid to satisfy me; or just a bunch of average ones.

Not sure the northern territory would be my first choice for a visit down under but that's a great ad.

Kakadu National Park is known widely to be "kaka don't" cause it's not all it's cracked up to be.

I've only briefly been in the NT, going from Darwin Airport to RAAF Darwin for a flight to Timor Leste. It's humid, unbearably so, and largely full of drunkards. By which I mean, remember drunken racist The_Gatherer? Pretty sure he spent a lot of time in Darwin.

Pretty pathetic advert if you ask me. I'd rather head to Sydney or parts of QLD anyway.

Anyone who describes themselves as charming, charismatic or stylish demonstrates, in so doing, that they are definitely not.

nt has some beautiful spots but it is unbearably hot and the blatant alcohol abuse and drug taking in rural communities are just sad to see

Is there motorised esky racing? If so, I'll be on a plane right after a quick trip to the barber to get myself a mullet.

Those damn spiders and the heat are the reasons why Australia is not on my short list of "countries I would ask to take me in when the Trump administration puts a target on feminists."

That and your heated rural areas have racist misogynists so it would feel like home.

We have section 18c (for the now) of the Racial Discrimination Act to keep those who need a "safe space" to crawl into and pretend the bad man touched them inappropriately.

Iceland is top of my list if the UK ends up with a populist nutjob like Farage or Corbin. They have a great strength culture, I think more strength athletes per head than any other nation; something close to a direct democracy, with a population of people grown-up enough to make it work; and people eat one of the world's healthiest diets and the longest life expectancy for men of any nation (and I think it's only Japan where women live longer on average).

Something more specific to your requirements: https://www.theguardian.com/lifeand...best-place-to-be-women-equal-gender-maternity

Also, amazing landscape, clean air and hot springs:

I believe in fact this gentleman is the first year politics tutor giving Philosopher his insights.

The far right managed to kill off the opportunity by offering a pathetic plebiscite option (which they knew would not pass the upper house) when they could simply have a conscience vote and let the matter be decided by the parliament (as they do with almost anything else).

We still got just sufficient numbers of cro-magnon "men" here to control the political process and keep us in the past.

melbourne is the place for you then. you get every season of weather most days. like it will start out beautifully sunny then rain and hail before being windy and back to being fine. spiders while still around is more of a bush thing so nothing to worry about. just if you don't like sports it will be hard to socialise with most people. we call our self the sporting capital of the world since we follow anything and everything.

Eh, there's still plenty of room for the non-sporting Melbournian - such as myself. What you lack in an interest in sport can easily be substituted with a love of art, food or fashion. You'll find your niche.
