    If it's Comcast, then it's probably the same box that I've got. I think mine is either beige or gray as well. Or perhaps it's khaki...

    Pretty sure mine is a surfboard. Mine is property of Adelphia. Didn't buy my own. They've replaced it twice, but I'm pretty sure it is still a SurfBoard.

    Ya know, surfboard sounds familiar. Not sure if that would be the interface card, or the external modem though...

    Probably motorola surfboards (pretty good units). I'm trying to check some labels and MAC prefixes on the above named models for training purposes here at work.

    I'm pretty sure Comcast uses RCA External Cable Modems... I could always call my brother the cable guy and ask him ;)

    While I had a cable modem out in Denver, it was a Surfboard, with Comcast. Out here... in the middle of Silicon Valley... we don't have access to high speed cable modem in our area. The good news is that they claim we'll have it by the end of the year.
