I'm definitely new to the Star Wars universe. After a couple movies as a young child, I developed an extreme dislike of the movies. Recently, my friends convinced me to watch the prequels and TFA, and now I'm hooked. I am looking forward to seeing the Original Trilogy soon, but have taken to reading Darth Plagius to better understand the dark side. I am glad to have found a community that can help with my understanding, and expand my knowledge. Thanks guys!
Welcome GreyWalker. Come join us in the PT Forum, we will be happy to meet another person who enjoys the PT. Here is a hint; Be yourself, and soon you will find like minded people.
Welcome TheGreyWalker! Don't get me wrong, but you suprised me by stating that the PT got you hooked after having a extreme dislike after watching the OT. Never met anyone who stated it so clearly and never thought that the PT could change the view of SW that much. It's pretty cool, but not the way I would have lived, since PT isn't my favorite. So I guess, the best place for you is the PT as to which Cleo invited you already. Enjoy your stay!
Thanks Cleo, will do! Thanks for the advice! And thanks Skiara, glad to see your pov . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks all you guys! Seems like a great community here. Definitely will venture over to PT Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Welcome to the Boards, TheGreyWalker. Great name. I had a story once, called Grey Walker Down. Only in the last few months, did I notice such a polarisation either for or against the Prequel Trilogy, so I am pleased whenever I see another fan for the PT.
Thank you Sith-I-5. And I'm glad to see some other Prequel fans. As for you stories, have you published any? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Our fanfiction section is http://boards.theforce.net/categories/fan-fiction.10825/]here[/url]. I do have a couple of items here, and pre-internet, published stuff in Star Wars fanzines. Grey Walker Down was published in an edition of a British zine called Dark Jedi.
Thanks for the heads up Cleo, honestly I'm a complete newbie on this type of medium. Not even sure what MODed means lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Under your post, in tiny letters, you may see the word Edit. Click on it while it is still there - 30 minutes upwards, depending on the forum; and you can add extra content to your post. That, in most cases, will make double posting un-necessary.
On Tapatalk, select your post and use the pencil icon to edit it to avoid double posting. You can also select multiple posts at the same time by highlighting them blue.
So in that case what all entails double posting, what does MODed mean as well? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
"MOD" is short for moderator, our enforcers of the Board rules, and the TOS (Terms of Service). Sort of like Megacity Judges, apart from....no, exactly like Megacity Judges! The friendly neighbourhood mods for this forum, are Skiara and NYCitygurl. They can answer questions that we members may not be able to.
And double posting is posting twice in a row in the same thread (you may see triple posting, as well, which is three posts in a row).
Alright, thanks for pointing me in the right direction friends. Will be more mindful in the future. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
