The interesting thing about random, not necessarily grammatically correct slang is that you can say it absolutely any way you want to and it's just fine. There cannot possibly be any "right" way, because it's not part of the technical language.

That's not exactly true, Jjanda. Much of the standard, accepted language we use today was at one time slang. Language is a constantly changing thing, not purely a restricted set of rules that cannot be manipulated or broken. So even though some slang words aren't officially recognized by the Oxford English Dictionary or whatever book you set store in, that doesn't mean that slang doesn't have rules and standards too.

Fine, I'll put it this way then. I choose to ignore the "right" way and, slang wise, speak however I want to or however my own group of friends does, regardless of what any 14 year old rapper may claim is correct. And, frankly, I think that's a pretty reasonable approach.

not to mention the fact that slang is different in other parts of the country. For example, where I'm from in So Cal, dope means weed. Whereas, Comet in NY says dope means cool.
