Hi, I'm JP from the UK. I've been into Star Wars since the late 70's. I love the movies and also spend way too much money on the toys, especially Hasbro and Lego. My wife doesn't understand, but she likes the movies too so it doesn't cause that much friction

Ahoy, starahelm! Yes, sometimes a second job is needed to complete the collection. I empathize with you; my fiance is graciously allowing me a room in our new house for the collection. Helpful hint: rotate your display. This way you can keep stuff in the closet, still have the cool items out for display and, more importantly, it all looks neat and clean. Nobody complains, no one gets hurt. The fact that she's a fan does help. Welcome and have fun! 8)

Hello and welcome starahelm, what would you say is your most prized star wars toy?

 

At the moment I'd say it was my original B-Wing Fighter from 1984. It's in immaculate condition, just missing the box. I always wanted one as a teen when ROTJ came out, but the expense of collecting at the time was too great, and of course without avenues like the internet it was very hard to get stuff if the local shops weren't interested in stocking it.

My girlfriend likes Star Wars more than me, and I like Star Wars a lot... so you can see how much see loves it. I'm really grateful for that, so you should be so happy your wife digs it.

hi, I'm new at this too, but also a longtime fan, living in Australia. I saw ANH when I was 8 and fell in love with SW. Never collected any toys, but my brother did have the ESB doona cover and sheets set! My husband likes SW but doesn't love it. I think he is jealous of my love for Hayden C, who I thought was just fantastic in ROTS. Love this website by the way.
