FF:WA Hi, I'm new here...

Does anyone else here play the Star Wars CCG?

 

A few people on the forum are game fans, I'm sure they will answer

Im racking my brain, but Im trying to figure out what CCG is? I probably know it, but Im drawing a blank atm...

 

Nope don't like collectible card games. Sorry

 

I've never played it myself, but I have a couple of very good friends who are right in to it. I hope to get a few of them joining in these forums or maybe even the new fanclub.
One of them has actually represented WA in tournaments before. He's pretty well known among the regular CCG players.

l didn't have a clue as to what CCG was l like learning new things

 

I've seen the cards they play with and have a very basic understanding of the game. It's almost like chess in a way except that it's played with cards. I think players choose to be aligned with the empire or the rebel alliance. Each card represents a starwars character/ship etc and each has certain points/abilities. I've never played it before so BigPoppaJabba might be able to correct some of what I've said about it or explain it better.
The cards have some pretty cool pictures on them and they usually have some good info on the back as well. Some of you may have seen pictures of the model selected to portray Mara Jade (Sharon Baska I think). That was originally for the Mara Jade card in the CCG game.

the only SW cards I have is a Sabacc card deck that came with the old West End Games rpg "Crisis on Cloud City" storyline
