Yup, you read it right. "Hide the Wookiee."</p>

<p>Let me explain--"Hide the Wookiee" isn't some bizarrely geeky sex thing (despite what you might have done at your last visit to a sci-fi convention). It is, however, something that you and your significant other can enjoy together. "Hide the Wookiee" is sort of a slow-motion game of tag, played out over days and weeks of not knowing where or when the Wookiee will appear.</p>

<p>Let me explain some more--just over a week ago, I turned 28. To celebrate this auspicious occasion, my father, remembering my life-long enjoyment (okay, so it's closer to an obsession) of all things Star Wars, gave me an autographed headshot of <a href="http://www.petermayhew.com">Peter Mayhew</a>. In full Chewbacca makeup.</p>

<p>Utterly flabbergasted, neither <a href="http://www.livejournal.com/users/aquamindy">my wife</a> nor I knew what do to with it, let alone where to put it. Until, on a lark, our little game of "Hide the Wookiee" began.</p>

<p>The rules are simple:</p>

<li>When a player finds Chewie, he or she must find a new location to hide the Wookiee for the other player(s) to find.</li>
<li>The player that finds Chewie must photo him for <a href="http://www.livejournal.com/">LiveJournal</a> posterity here on <span class='ljuser' style='white-space: nowrap;'><a href='http://www.livejournal.com/userinfo.bml?user=hidethewookiee'><img src='http://stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif' alt='[info]' width='16' height='16' style='vertical-align: bottom; border: 0;' /></a><a href='http://www.livejournal.com/community/hidethewookiee/'><b>hidethewookiee</b></a></span>.</li>
<li>Chewie can be in plain sight or hidden.</li>
<li>Chewie can't hide in the same place twice.</li>
<li>Chewie has to stay in his frame.</li>
<li>Chewie can't be damaged in any way by his hiding place.</li>
<li>There is no formal scoring system. However, players receive honor and glory for the surprise factor and/or inappropriateness of Chewie's location.</li>
</ol>

CTA is an orginazation of individuals that are out to show the underground life of the wookie community. Each individual is scheduled "Tasks" to help the wookie become known to all individuals, in either a good, or a bad way, whatever will get out to the public.

People like to mock the wookie, they think of them as a joke to society. Actually, the wookie is just as good, if not better than mankind. People tend to make names for the wookies, such as "walking carpet", "fuzzball", "stupid dog faced ass **** etc. We here at CTA are here to give wookies a better name, wether it be "friend" or "foe", as long as they are not there is not a picture of them for the common furball in the dictonary. It will end!

As of now... The number of wookies on staff is low, more will join as the time passes. Wookies are all around us, in the corner store, in your bakery, in your bath tub, and even your banks...there is no escape. Dont try to run, wookies are in the police, the air force, the navy, the military, even GOD himself is a wookie. So when your in an alley way all alone, dont talk **** about a wookie, or arms will be ripped from bodies!
