To Dorkman I appreciate your helping me with the force pull trick, I'll be sure to test them out during some rehersals. However I am also sitting here with your fan film open and paused in-front of me.

I don't intend to nit-pick but from what you have said in your previous posts encourages me to say, your sabers are more reminiscent of ESB and ROTJ sabers in the essence that the glow feathers out quite a distance, seems to be atleast 1/2 to 1/34 inch thick from the definable edge the white blade to where the opacity of the glow is next to zero. TPM as i said earlier are much more surgical looking, where the glow is restricted and there are clear definable lines, EG. When obi-1 and qui-gon are on the droid ship and they get flooded with poison gas, that sequence clearly shows the sabers in terms of width and depth.

In the end it's preference and I apologise if my thoughts or opinions clash with your own, perhaps we'll just have to wait and see once i've finished my film?.

PS, Yours was one of the last i downloaded and i can say that your choreography was easily one of the best, there is another done to the tune of a chinese kung-fu type fight which REALLY impressed me.

So far the movies i've seen the choreography has fitted into 5 catagories "True Movie" "Exceptional" "Good" "Mediocre" "poor". Yours and this other one I have fit into exceptional by far.

Dorkman and I have already covered this topic many times.. Episode II sabers look really bad, and They are hard to copy. I did some tests a while back, where I could match the frames from the hanger scene exactly, but once rendered it looks really bad. If you want a more "vivid saber" search for a thread I did a while ago where I was messing around with adding a black layer under ryan's tec. Worked good. Kind of in the middle of rtoj and tpm. But as always do what makes you happy.

Here are a couple caps from the comparision video that Ryan made a while back that was referred to earlier, in case anyone didn't see it.

    Cap 1

    Cap 2

Judge for yourself which one you like better :).

    My 2 cents worth..

I thought obi-wans saber didn't look bad on the platform with Jango..

Hated the rest. Episode 1, bad movie, good sabers. :)

The Episode 2 sabers appear to be done in Microsoft Paint, while Ryan's appear to be done in photoshop. High res, nice realistical blurish core, and what not.

Oh, my thoughts when I saw "High Quality Lightsaber SFX": I knew it was coming to this. Jedi Porn.

Have you tried combustion3? I personally hate the interface, not enough control over certain nodes.
