History Channel show article

I watched the History Channel special, and find myself desperately wishing that the population at large could appreciate all 6 films the way those who participated in the documentary obviously do. While the Prequels have not yet had the cultural and socialogical impact that the earlier movies have, that will change over time as a new generation grows up with the Prequels. The author of that article is obviously someone who can't or won't accept that, while they're connected thematically, the two trilogies that comprise the SW saga are, in some ways, fundamentally different, and should be judged on different merits.

 

Your instincts to avoid this topic were right. I sure wish you'd listen to them instead of engaging in a fight -- for once, just once! *sigh*
