Hobbie Klivan fan club

I live in "the Hub City", so named because it's in the middle of nowhere. I have a Chapters and a Coles, but they're two towns over with no comics. United Books sometimes has stuff, but the one that does is hard to get to. And I have no credit card for Amazon.com.

 

I live in the middle of nowhere too. In fact it is so far in the middle of nowhere that it has no nicknames. Oh well.

I kinda live in the middle of nowhere too. The town that is clostest to me is one that is so small that if you blink you miss it. The town where I went to school is sometimes called "A-Town" which I think is really dumb.

 

The town that is closest to me is like that too. It was so small that our elementary school only went up to grade 6 so we had to go to another town for our last 2 years of elementary school.

Then we go to an even bigger town for high school.

 

My high school is in the middle of the woods. Literally! It's not a very big forest, but it is a forest.

 

My school is in a town. Not my town but oh well.

 

Oh, it's in a town, but my town is mostly trees, that's all. Gotta love NB, a combination of Hoth, Endor and Tatooine.

 

The area around my house pretty much varies from Endor to Hoth.

I can't really think of a planet to compare it too.

 

Endor and Hoth are physical descriptions, Tatooine is the emotional one. "If there's a bright center to the universe, you're in the province that it's farthest from."

 

When you go to college next year, Yub Yub, go somewhere in Pittsburgh! It's awesome!

Pittsburg? That would involve paying American tuition though!

The sad thing is, one of the universities I'm considering is in Sackville, which is even more backwater than Riverview.

 

Would that be Mount Allison University, DoYY? My best friend from high-school went there, had a passionate secret affair with one of her profs and later moved to London with him. Apparently it's a great school, other than that and the six feet of snow in the winter.

May I recommend you consider somewhere more temperate? Like Victoria, over in Lotusland? We'd love to have another serious fan out our way! And UVic is a terrific university, Canadian and set like a jewel into a bezel of gardens and ocean views...

(No, I don't work for their PR department, that's just my observations of it, that's all.)

By the Way, everyone, all this talk of school is really making me feel my age. I'm old enough to have lustful thoughts about our fave Rogue, and know what to do with him... The rest of you have me worried...

Yes, it would be Mount Allison. Their chemistry program is supposed to be excellent. As for the six feet of snow, I live an hour away from there so I'm used to it by now.

 

I'm still not sure what university I will go to. I still have 2 years to decide so I should be ok.

I have no idea where I want to go to University. I will probably stay in my city since we have 2 good universities here but I want to go away.

 

I know that this is off of your topic, but I just have a question. I was wondering if this thread would be interested in appointing a Governer to report problems to the NEUE via a Moff. This does not entitle anything on your part, it only gives you whatever protection the NEUE has to offer for your thread. There is no bothering with Senators and such. The only time you will have to deal with the NEUE is if you have a problem. If you want to have a Governer from your thread do this, please tell us in the EU Empire thread. If you do not, please just leave it be. I did not come here to cause trouble, and I don't want it. Thank you for your time fellow posters.

Thankfully I am already in college and don't have to decide where to go.
