Personality- A pretty upbeat and happy person normally. She is a serious student, and studies hard to make her parents proud, and uphold the family name. But she does have a fun side, and loves to explore.

Clothing-
When not required to wear the black work robes, Maya loves wearing her Ilvermorny robes of blue and cranberry. It is fastened with a gold Gordion knot. Blue is her favorite color, and features heavily in her clothing. She also likes her blue jeans. Maya also has a tiny blue flower necklace she wears around her neck. A gift from her mom. It emits a very pleasant gardenia type smell, reminding her of home.

Other Details-

Bio: From the American School, Ilvermorny. As she is entering her 4th year, she transferred to Hogwarts. As Ilvermorny was a school part-founded by a No-Maj, Ilvermorny has the reputation of being one of the most democratic, least elitist of all the great wizarding schools. So she will most likely find the differences, quite startling to say the least.

Maya is an exchange student, and so she is looking at this opportunity as one grand adventure, but she is feeling a bit anxious about being in a new country, she knows very little about. She dreams about visiting all of the schools eventually.

She is also obsessed with learning how to fly without the aid of a broom. She has heard that it has been done, but only known to a few. She is trying to figure it out. But while she is working on that project, she is wanting to learn more about weather, shape-shifting and invisibility spells as well.

"We Will Deal With Voldemort's-"
Mcgonnagall flinched at the name of Voldemort, But Dumbledore pressed on.
"Creation, But we cannot attack it openly, Think of the people that would die! Too Many, I fear, And it's power is untested... We will have to lure it somewhere hidden and safe from doing any harm."
"But it could be doing harm this very minute! Professor, We cannot wait to do anything, We need to completely eradicate it, Perhaps we can catch it off guard?"
"We Will Not Attack it openly."

The Dark Eyes of the marauder watched Rosemerta take away the plates of a meal that had just been finished, a young girl, Probably about 14, Made her way upstairs. The Marauders wand lay hidden in his right sleeve. Ready to strike anyone who attacked him, But who would attack him? Many would take the chance, He stood up, Dropped a Galleon onto his table, and went upstairs, He grasped his wand as it slid from his sleeve, The Girl's room, Maya, He saw it's wooden door He opened the door and peered through, She was sitting at a table, Reading a school book...
"Crucio!"

The Three Broomsticks

Maya hummed happily as she finished off her meal at the Broomsticks. She had stuffed her pockets with some interesting bits, and a chunk of bread for Fergie, her raven companion. She had left her up in her room. Fergie
liked to talk a bit, and not everyone appreciated her unique voice. Maya used the key she was given to enter her room. So far, Maya had found the city, and the Inn quite interesting. So was so used to dealing with No-
Maj's...uh.. no. Here, they called them Muggles. Here, totally different. So watching them use magic for the tiniest of things, was kind of interesting.

Entering her room, she spotted Fergie, perched up high on one of the shelves in the room. Closing and locking the door behind her, she called out to Fergie, while pulling out the treats she had stored, placing them on a lower shelf. Fergie jumped down to Maya's shoulder, giving her a quick rub against her shoulder, before jumping to the offered food. Maya laughed softly. "Your welcome." she told her friend.

Sighing softly, Maya moved over to the large desk in the room, and sat down. She had a few letters she needed to write, and then there were the new schoolbooks she had gotten earlier. She read over the titles. Sitting down, she cracked open one of her books when she heard a sound. Fergie squawked, and flew over to a higher spot, as the door suddenly opened. A darkly dressed man ?, stepped into her room, wand at the ready. Maya immediately dropped down, drawing her own wand as she kicked the table over to provide cover.

She heard him call out a spell she was not familiar with, but she responded with one of her own.

"Flipendo!"

GM Update

Maya's Room, The Three Broomsticks
The spell hit the unknown figure square in the chest, sending him flying backwards and into the wall, knocking him unconscious, yells slid up from beneath the floorboard as the Man slid down to the floor.
"What's going on up there?'
the familiar voice of madame Rosemerta wafted into the room. a thundering of footsteps could be heard all over the building. 3 people burst in, Madame Rosemerta and two important looking men.
Rosemerta took one look at Maya and then to the Unconscious man, gave a little gasp and toppled out of the room.
"What on earth has been going on in here?!?"
One of the important looking men glared at Maya, Then to the unconscious man.
"You better come with us, Missy."

Maya's Room, The Three Broomsticks


The spell hit the unknown figure square in the chest, sending him flying backwards and into the wall, knocking him unconscious, yells slid up from beneath the floorboard as the man slid down to the floor.

Maya sat behind the table. Seeing that the man was out cold, she put away her wand as she exhaled. Before she could even try to figure out what had just happened, she heard voices.

"What's going on up there?'

That was the voice of the woman who ran the place. Madame Rosemerta. Suddenly, the sounds of many footsteps seemed to be heading her way. Maya stood up, as 3 people suddenly appeared in her room. One was that of Madame Rosemerta. But behind her stood two men that she had never seen before. Maya looked towards Madame Rosemerta for guidance, but instead watched as Rosemerta looked towards her, then the unconscious
man, gave a little gasp and toppled out of the room.

What in the world?? These guys must be important, to make the Madame leave, but Maya wasnt about to be bullied. Cant have the dream of travelling about the world, if you shriveled easily. She was a New Yorker.

"What on earth has been going on in here?!?" One of the important looking men glared at Maya, Then to the unconscious man.

"You better come with us, Missy." he added.

Maya slowly smoothed down her clothes, and then spoke. "What is going on here, is that that man entered my room uninvited, and attacked me with a spell for no reason." She answered slowly.

She then looked over towards the other man. "And I'll not be going anywhere with you, until you identify yourselves. Im new to the area. So you will forgive me, if I simply do not just take your word for it, that you are some sort of law enforcement". She frowned, and then pointed towards the unconscious man.

"And him. The spell he used, though I dont know it, Im sure it wasnt a good one." She then crossed her arms, and waited for them to respond. Fergie squawked over from his perch on the shelves. Maya stayed on the other side of the table, just in case these strange men tried something. With Madame Rosemerta's sudden departure, Maya was a bit unsure of what to do next.
