St. Lou, MO Holiday Banners

Hiya!

ok, we all know how for holidays the JC gets a nice make-over.

and while I've forgotten to do this in the past, I'm remembering now. Usually there is a thread in the CR board to see who would like their FF boards to have the banner. We will get our old banner back, the holiday banner would be up only for the duration of the holiday time.

As y'all know, Valentine's Day is coming up, and that means the Pepto Bismal banner. Should I request to have this banner put up? Or do y'all just wanna leave the old one?

we have a couple days to decide, and I would start a poll... but I don't wanna

and this way I can up this every time a new holiday comes around.

Depends on what it looks like I guess. Have any ideas? I say go for it what the heck.

I also say we start thinking about a new banner and an actual color scheme to go with it. (I know. I'm the lazy one that never got around to it) It's been over a year since I made this one, and 7 months since it got uploaded.

Instead of different people doing different ones and voting, I think we should discuss ideas for how we want it to look, what we want in it, etc. Then have people make them and vote. Just a thought.

 

Please! Nothing devilishly pink. I might just have to boycott this forum until the pink goes away if you do that.

 

if I remember correctly the horrid pink thing is only up for a day....but I still say no, if only cuz it is that horrid pink color.

 

Well looks like I'll be out voted, but then I've never seen the V-day banner before.

I like Brian's idea of the banner thing. Sounds like fun.

Hey Bri, still up for creating a new banner? At yesterday's meeting we had a couple ideas for it, if you're interested. Too lazy to post a new thread right now, figure we'll do it if we decide to create one.

I've got midterms all this week, and then I'm sending in my powerbook to get the disk drive fixed on friday (hopefully).
I would probably be able to start on it as early as next wed or thurs. There is an outside chance that I could start working on it this tues if I'm looking to procrastinate studying.

You could either PM me, send me an e-mail, or catch me on AIM.
After I get started on it, I'll start a new thread for it.

Is there an Easter banner or is that too religous?

 

I don't remember for sure, but I think there is one.

 

Long as there's not pictures of Jesus all over it, I'm cool with an Easter banner.

 

Did christmas have picts of religous things? Neither will Easter.

 

if I recall correctly, it was just a bunch of pastel colors with easter eggs an whatnot
