Star Wars Movie Night – Holy Ghost Lutheran School – Interest thread.

Saturday November 16th
Start Time 5PM (Arrival 4PM)
Movie starts at 7PM

Holy Ghost has approached me about another Star Wars Movie Night. This year will feature Return of the Jedi. They are moving the day from a weekday to a Saturday. This will allow us to have more time for demonstration, games, mingling, etc. prior to the movie start time. Moving to a Saturday will also work better for our schedules.
Equipment has been improved at the school and they now have a full PA system set up for the DVD sound (no more clipping on the audio). Microphones are also available so we won’t have to yell over the crowd noise, which will allow for better crowd control.

There will be no table support needed for this event. It's pretty informal, but they are looking for costumed characters.

I will be setting up a planning meeting soon and there will be times set. The movie will more than likely start around 7-ish with activities preceeding (academy, demonstrations, maybe some games, etc.) We're trying to make this a bit more organized than the previous two years and setting some rules for the kids, such as leaving electronic games at home.

I'm guessing that arrival will be sometime around 3pm, start time around 4 or so. That gives three hours to mingle, play games, demonstrations and set up for the movie.
