Homer's Patented Out-of-this-World Space Age Moon Waffle

You will need:

1 package of caramel squares
2 cups waffle batter
1 bottle liquid smoke
1 stick of butter

You will need to:

Place the caramel in your waffle iron. Pour on waffle batter. Add liquid smoke to taste. Iron thoroughly. Take stick of butter and firmly wrap waffle around it. Pierce with toothpick and serve.

Note: if Moon Waffle should leak on to your person, summon dog to lick it off.
