Honduras-ising

OK, I'm almost ready to leave.

I will be gone until the 13th of August (well, or maybe really, really, really late on the 12th.)

We leave for the Masters College this evening, spend a couple of days there, then leave for Honduras via Miami on the night of August 2nd.

We are scheduled to return to LAX (once again via Miami) around 10 pm on the 2nd, then it's home for a nice long shower and a long sleep.

You all behave nicely, and take care of each other, OK?

MJF has been PM'd and asked to peek in on all of you once in a while for me. If any trouble/trolls/fist fights erupt, you can also PM her. Also, just in case, if you haven't heard from me by the 20th of August and can't reach me any other way, (and only then, please), you may send a PM to HandmaidenAnde, who is a friend of mine and has a way of contacting my family in case I seem to have disappeared.

On a good note to leave on, I talked to a clerk at B&N yesterday who turned out to be a SW fan, and reads all the comics/graphic novels, NJO stuff. I gave him my email and the url for our site. Hopefully we'll get one of these other folks from "out there" (meaning outside of our usual 6-8 of us) to join in!

OK, that was reeeeaaaaalllllly bad Spanish. :~) I'm still in Honduras for one more night. We're "debriefing" in the capital city of Tegucigalpa, and I saw an internet cafe and ran on in. (After all, how on earth could I resist being able to post from Honduras????) I will be around for two days starting Wednesday morning, and it looks like I'm just in time to catch up with whatever it is that has been going on around here! Looks really busy, and that there are bunches of newer folks posting. Yay!

We fly to Miami tomorrow midday sometime, then onto LAX. Pray/wish/hope for us safe travels, and that we haven't brought any stowaway native wildlife (or any wildlife) with us. I'll have to share my mouse and cockroach stories with all of you when I return.
