I lol'd at an EGM review of Halo 4. They gave it a 7/10. The reason? The review can pretty much be summed up as: "ITS NOT CALL OF DUTY!"

Which of course makes me think, "PERFECT!"

And I finally got my first 23 inch monitor after 15 inch inferiority for the past eight years or so. Packard Bell, $90. Native 1920 x 1020 resolution, full HD capable.

Damn, this screen is wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...

 

Nice, yeah, I have a 23 inch 1920x1080 full hd viewsonic that my dad got me for my birthday last year. Though the only reason he got it for me was that it was an insane deal and he had already gotten one for himself. It cost a little less than $120, which is pretty good for a viewsonic. Right now its sitting on a reticulating VESA mount on my desk that was custom made by my father from leftover wood and covered with what used to be part of the bathroom surround.

Course I've already been preparing for it even though I haven't really meant to

 

I bought my Limited Edition UNSC controller and am heading to my local GameStop for a midnight release. Look for me, I'll be the guy in line ten years older than everyone else.

 

I wanted to buy the Limited Edition to Halo 4 but it was sold out. Might buy a limited edition controller to make up for it as, back during Halo 3's release, I had the awesome Spartan Limited Edition controller but, sadly, it died after much use.

The nearest GameStops I have are still out of power though. I have to rely on Newegg. Fortunately, I believe Newegg has a warehouse right near me so hopefully I'll get Halo 4 tomorrow as I ordered a graphics card from them one time and it was here the next day. Right now all I have to say is damn youz BLemelisk....

 

Sarge, I did the same exact thing. I missed out on the Limited Edition so I needed limited something. The indicator lights on it are blue + the new UNSC logo = sexy.

I'm not going to open it until the game is installing onto my HDD.

Sorry to hear about those power outages however, you should launch a raid on that Newegg warehouse

Haha, I'll probably check out that movie one day I've seen such RPs done before but on other sites which...weren't really known for quality games. I'm sure one done right will be pretteh cool to play.

So on another random note, remember that Mass Effect anime film that no one cared about? Weeellll.....
