(Is that sufficiently immature? I really don't like the ball pit. The colours are making my eyes cross.)

 

It's too cold to play in the ball pit; you know how my hip gets in this weather. Oy, back in my day you never had these fancy toys the kiddies got these days, you had a stick, and a hoop, and you rolled the hoop with the stick, and that was enough! Now it's "ball pit" this and "video game" that...

 

Hoop! You were lucky to have a hoop! My day, we had to make do with a big ol' lump of cow dung for our ball, and our Dad'd beat us to death with a spoon if we let any of the dung go over our sackcloths we used for shirts!

 

Luxury! When I was that age, we used to have to kick around a dirty rock, and our Dad would skin us with a thimble if he so much as sniffed a hint of dirt on our second-hand potato bags!

 

We had to MORTGAGE our dirty rock to the bank! Mean ol' bastard local banker was, too, 'e made our Mam drain her blood every Friday down a' the teller desk an' then eat raw cabbage AND pay for privilege of 't. An t' make th' mortgage repayments our Dad'd make us go out blowin' oop puffins f'r th' bounty on th' feathers!

Lord? Lord! We had to PAY for our god! Foun' 'im in a cheap sale shop where rich folk went t' throw out their old gods! Our god was a Zeus wi' one eye missing and two of 'is thunderbolts bent out o' shape! AND we had to bow in front of 'im thirty times a day, or 'e'd smite us wi' nasty third-rate lightning bolts AND take away our afterlife for the privilege of getting punished so!

 

Bourgeois opulence! We were only able to rent a rusty old used Heimdallr with no horn to speak of from an old woman who used to kick the living daylights out of us if we looked at her cats funny AND we had to kowtow to him no less than fifty times a day while flagellating ourselves with swatches from the old oak tree or he'd slowly kill us via a low, dull whining noise that was not unlike fingernails scratching across a hand-me-down chalkboard and he'd condemn us to the endless void only to bring us back into being to do it all over again - and that's when he was in a good mood!



... And you know what, you tell that to the kids these days, and they won't believe you!

 

I wish you could double-like a post, because that was funny as hell.

Now then. Any more requests for immaturity from Ramza and I? Because we can get a WHOLE LOT MORE IMMATURE. We haven't even started scripting Ludwig Wittengenstein action movies yet. You really want that on your conscience?

Cool, I want to play as Murderman!

 

I had a thought last night that stemmed from Saintheart's post about wizard wars between Sauron and Dumbledore. That map that was posted could be the basis for an awesome game.



Just imagine....the forces of Mordor are in battle against the men of Gondor when BAM! dinosaurs from Dinotopia arrive! Then Voldemort comes in to help Sauron when BOOM! Thomas the Freakin' Tank Engine rolls up! In the middle of all this a little boy playing an ocarina starts causing havoc with his melodies!

In sounded better in my head......

 

That can only end horribly/spectacularly.

Gandalf: "You made one critical mistake, Voldemort."
Voldemort: "Oh? And what's that?"
Gandalf: "You forgot about Thomas the Tank Engine."
*Thomas the Tank Engine zooms in and runs over Voldemort*

EXACTLY!!!!! And I didn't even mention Narnia, Wonderland, or Peter Pan and his crew! The game would be so much CHAOS!!!!!!!!1!!11!1

Hmmm, must do research so that I may develop this game in a somewhat sane manner before I pitch it to the mods. Unless I can just bribe them with awesome characters....

EDIT: Also just noticed that the island of Utopia is on the map, home of the X-Men! Imagine the X-Men doing battle with Ganondorf!
