So my day is... interesting. I get to cat sit for my brother and his girlfriend who got new kittens. so now I'm cat sitting while I write my posts.

They're just little baby kittens so they're so cute. ^^ <Dying>

I did a Google search, wildwookie, to see if our names shared a page, and found that you and I are different generations of player within @Bravo's Star Wars: Intervention role-playing game, with you being a much earlier player than me; you are remembered as the first person to land a craft inside the Merc's host vessel, the Johnny Boy.

Hi everyone, I have work off on Monday so I'll be able to post up. ^^

So was I, but I wouldn't want to associate with myself either.

 

RANT. I'm only ranting here cos I'm not allowed to do it in my OOC Thread.

I love Chinese food, or, as I understand, the Westernised version that their take aways and restaurants ply on us.

But I hate, when inexplicably, they change something on my favourite meal to make it in-edible, but seem completely incapable of understanding that they have changed something from what they have been serving to me for months or years.

Like I said to the guy at MISO, "If I knew you were going to change it, I would have taken a ******* picture, so I could show it to you and say, 'here, this is what its supposed to look like; change it back'!"

The waiter seemed more diplomatic this time round, asking me to explain how to do it differently.

I don't cook the ******* thing, how the **** do I know what you are supposed to do to change it back. All I can tell you is what it looks like when you serve it.

"The cook used too much water"

"Well, there's your problem right there! Its supposed to be special fried rice, no water involved" [I'm floundering at this point, I don't know how you make it, I just eat the stuff]. "It's supposed to be rice, oil, some sort of big metal bowl....!"

And I strained my back slightly at work.

And I'm beginning sentences with an 'And'. So sue me.

And I had to rely on the charity of a bus driver to get home yesterday, because I did not have £2.50 in change to give him for the bus fare.

What I did have, was thirty quid in notes, and an travel card thingie, which I had just renewed, as I renew it almost every Monday after work.

"Hello my good man/woman/furry creature from Alpha Centauri," (I don't say that) "Please can I have zones blah and blah, for a week, starting from tomorrow."

'Tomorrow' Is normally a Tuesday.

Last night, because of the Bank Holiday Monday, 'Tomorrow' was a Wednesday, and my card had expired during the Monday, leaving me in a No Mans Land of having to pay cash to use transport.

And - there I go again - The Powers That Be cannot change the date range that I have paid for without taking down my name and address, as it will count as a refund.

Yeah, well drokk that.
