Eh, I'm not worried about it as I assume this is one of those surprise marriage things that get resolved as they suspect in the article: death, crazy lady, or technically not married or something Was just a bit surprising. And, yes, the comments.

It's like these people have never read a comic book before. You never trust the end-of-issue twist to be what it seems.

It occurs to me that this cat lady could be some kind of bunny boiler, that has decided in her own mind that they are married, and Han has managed to stay ahead of her till this point. Hence the face in hands.

Or, the number of random planets that he and Chewie made planetfall on, as smugglers, sooner or later you are going to run into the civilized explorer vs tribal people trope, where some chieftain has decided that you can marry his daughter, or some comely woman in the group is now yours - Tarzan, From Russia With Love, Red Dwarf. This could be another one.

Okay, the Bond film is arguable, but even 007 didn't hang around after being told that breaking up a girl fight, meant one of the fighters was now his.

 

My day is so much sadder learning that Count Saruman with the Golden Gun as I, but absolutely no one else, called him is no longer among us.
