So today is the last day of regular classes, to which I must ask - where the hell did my first year of grad school go? [face_worried]

"Last week in college" is the end of a sentence. :D :D Some lucky people get paroled before that.

I still don't understand, you're saying there are people who, at some point, are no longer attending college?

Um...no. No, we are all still at college. Er. All those cars on the freeway are just heading to "Distance Education" campuses.

Yeah, and those guys going down into mines in big trucks? Just, um, geography field trips. Those practical exams are tough.

Not going to lie, I just spent ten minutes fiddling with my cache and cookies, trying to figure out why I couldn't see the new banner, and only then did it occur to me that moderators have to manually change their board viewing styles.

It's like a breath of fresh air.

Well, I enjoyed it, to be honest.

    Better than 2, to me.

But I didn't mind the second Hulk movie so not much more I can probably add!

I've also heard it's better than Iron Man 2, but that borders on an unintentionally backhanded compliment. :p

Just got back from seeing Iron Man 3. It's definitely got a different feel than the first or second, but its not a bad different. Just.....different. Also, the scene at the end of the credits? Priceless.

I expected it to be great, but it was just good.

Ben Kingsley steals the movie in all the wrong ways.

A friend of mine saw it at work and said it was good until at one point where the movie decides to crap on everything for Marvel fans >.>

    I assume that'd be
when they reveal that the Mandarin is just an actor hired by the real villain?

It hasn't really put me off seeing the movie, mostly because
I really hate the Mandarin. Like, I REALLY hate the Mandarin, he's a relic of yellow peril villains that's still in circulation because god forbid we interfere a little bit with the status quo, and consequently he just gets more and more ridiculous as the years go by. Couple that with my general lack of enthusiasm for Iron Man comics and, well...

Edit: And on a completely unrelated note, Banana Shoes.

I really dislike the Mandarin as a villain equally for those exact reasons, Ramza, and as such them completing throwing him aside in his traditional form was perfect for me. I really wasn't looking forward to seeing him as a villain, and then the switch was fairly satisfying. That the Extremis nutter declares himself to be the Mandarin, complete with dragon tattoos and breathing fire and being pretty much invincible, quite cheered me up, as I was sick to death to the villain using Iron Man suits on Tony

    EDIT: Mildly large edit.
