    Always a pleasure to behold.

Now if Nintendo would just announce a slight price cut on the XL I'll be set. :p

    Well duh. :p

Edit: I mean, that's the first weekend after my summer teaching assignment begins. I can't fathom a better way to celebrate.

And Astroboy, though I don't think that was a giant mech.

Not to mention $100 less at launch. Shots were fired hard.

isn't it still behind in the tech specs department though? which would explain the 100 dollar difference.

RAM is comparable, word on the street is 4 has the better GPU. All we know about either processor is that it's "Eight Core" which means bugger all. I'd perhaps speculate that the PS4 has less built-in HDD space.

Ok, so I'm to treat this like AA for a moment.....

My name is Rampani and I have never played a Kingdom Hearts game. Ever.

    Please don't hurt me......

Same here. Then again, my favorite JRPG is Skies of Arcadia, so take what you will from my opinion :p

    GET OUT. :p

But honestly it's a really uneven franchise. The numbered console installments were good, Chain of Memories was good, the rest is... ... the rest exists.

I take that to mean you have excellent taste.

(in all seriousness, it is darn hard to find people outside my family who have even heard of the thing)

The whole of /vg/'s JRPG general is in love with SoA, actually, as is quite a bit of SA's community. Fun times - I remember loving the elemental attack property system when I played it on the 'cube back in the day, and Let's Plays have reaffirmed my opinion that the story holds up pretty well.

True. I more meant in person though in this case. I wouldn't even have gotten it if my uncle hadn't have introduced me to the game when it came out. And now I've reached the point where I can speed run a level 60+ file in 30 or so hours :p

I was ushered into the addiction world of RPGs by KOTOR and KOTOR II. This was quickly followed by Fable: The Lost Chapters edition and Jade Empire, along with the respectable sequels and other works offered by those creative minds. JRPGs have never really been my strong suit, unless Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars counts.....

Nah, it's just a hundred bucks cheaper so PRISM can look up your profiles more reliably. :D

SoA was my first introduction to RPG's, followed by KOTOR and Mass Effect. I only got around to Final Fantasy somewhat recently (in this case, Seven, Ten, and Thirteen).

No, see, that's how you explain the Xbone costing $100 more, what with their being an American company and all. Man, get your NSA joke ducks in a row. :p

Yeah, by contrast, I was brought up on a healthy diet of Pokémon and Dragon Warrior III, plus Earthbound and Chrono Trigger. Probably wouldn't have gotten into WRPGs were it not for an issue of Computer Gaming World coming bundled with the entirety of Betrayal at Krondor, plus the obligatory KOTOR suspects.

EDIT: Nintendo Directs and an "Extended" MGSV trailer tomorrow. STILL HYPE.
