Both teams played some amazing hockey. While that game winning shot was awesome, there was no way that was planned. At all. In all honesty, the 'Hawks and Bruins looked set to go for the longest game record. Scary part? It was only Game 1. There could seriously be another 6 games that insane. So yeah, this:

Well I just got bombarded with a boatload of Trophy alerts. It says Ive been here for twelve years... wait, Ive been here for longer than that. By my reckoning its been... gasp... 14 years! Ive wasted 14 years with you guys! Omg!

My guess would be that the admins updated the available trophies? I don't think we've had any for anything more than one year until now. [face_headscratch]

 

i just got a 20k posts trophy as well. i know that one existed. and i'm pretty sure at least some of the other annual trophies were there as well. so i dunno.

That's really what comes down to though for this generation. You got two choices:

Sony: Pro-consumer
Microsoft: Anti-consumer

I love the implications of that "Only one person was bitten by a snake" line. One imagines roving packs of diamondback rattlers, slithering through the halls of the LACC, randomly snapping at members of the gaming press who dare to stray too close.
