Hooray for Spring!

Hasn't this been an absolutely gorgeous weekend? I hope spring decides to stay

Yesterday I took my cousins to Mahoney State Park and we had a picnic lunch and played around for a couple hours. And of course I got sunburned. Bloody red hair

 

*Thinks of getting sunburned and then thinks of waiting in line for AotC tickets*

It has been really gorgeous out this weekend. I worked in our yard for a while and then sat under a tree and read a book today.

 

*sits by the window and waits for a thunderstorm*

 

It might storm, eh?

No storm yet

*sigh*

 

Hopefully tomorrow. According to the Weather Channel we could have "strong storms."

 

Oooh, we had the most wonderful thunderstorm today. It got really windy and stormy. It feels like summer already.

 

I LOVE thinderstorms. The feel of the wind through my hair, the smell of the rain, the sound of thunder, all the pretty lightning. I just LOVE thunderstorms!!!

 

I'd like to say that this thunderstorm was gorgeous, but... it caught us off guard and then started to hail.

It was still fun though.

How could I have missed it? It's not fair. We just got rain. *pouts*

 

You have to remember that I live in Southwest Lincoln... and that I'm super lucky.

 

Ah, today was beautiful. Well, this afternoon, anyways. The morning would've been beautiful if not for the petroleum smoke or whatever it was

 

Yeah, I know what you mean about the smokiness. At least it faded before the afternoon really hit. Spring weather is great, ain't it?

It's kinda depressing to look back on this thread and read about all of the rain we had this spring. It's so dry out.

I just remembered about all of the smoke that day. That really was bizarre.

It rained today! The dry spell seems to have ended (even if it was 100-something degrees out today )
