If we are able to have a couple more prizes to give us 8 total, then we could move to doing the contests every half hour. I will look around to see if I have anything packaged sitting around between now and then. Also, I was thinking if we had the DVD that came with the soundtrack from Ep III playing, that would also help to draw interest to our area. Wonderlab does not have a DVD player available so I was thinking about bringing one of mine from home to use. If we think we can get up to eight prizes (which means finding two more prizes) between all of us by Saturday, I think the following schedule will work.

    12:15 - trivia contest ages 6 & under
    12:30 - photo comic (limit 10 participants)
    12:45 - trivia contest ages 7 & older
    1:00 - photo comic (limit 10 participants)
    1:15 - trivia contest ages 6 & under
    1:30 - photo comic (limit 10 participants)
    1:45 - trivia contest ages 7 & older
    2:00 - photo comic (limit 10 participants)
    2:15 - trivia contest ages 6 & under
    2:30 - photo comic (limit 10 participants)
    2:45 - trivia contest ages 7 & older
    3:00 - photo comic (limit 10 participants)
    3:15 - trivia contest ages 6 & under
    3:30 - photo comic (limit 10 participants)
    3:45 - trivia contest ages 7 & older

I think we need to be able to get some sort of schedule to Staci by Friday morning at the latest so if she has any changes to suggest, we have a chance to discuss them before Saturday. In the schedule that is posted above, there shoud be opportunity for each person involed in the photo comic and the trivia contest to get a break by rotating people around. i know we have at least three people who have photography skills (Casey, Eric, and RC), so we should be able to rotate photagraphers and as long as everyone involved in the trivia contet runs it the same way, swapping people out there shoulld be no problem either.

If we know we will have guaranteed supervision over our brought in memoribilia, do we want to bring in some other stuff besides for just action figures?

I can coordinate the last minute contact with Staci since I will be home all day Friday, but if anyone else would rather take care of that, it would be fine with me.
I know Eric had some questions for her about saturday, which I cannot recall right now, but if anyone else would have questions about how things may go on Saturday, we should probably post them here so we can let Staci know we will be posting questions so she can check them on the board and she may be ableto answer them quickly by using the board and also keep track of the quetions ourselves and not assume that someone already has asked a question.

Sorry for the long winded post.

I would be willing to bring some taun tauns and possibly a few other things if we're going to have someone dedicated to watch them. I've got a Jabba I could bring as well. I will keep my eyes peeled for some more opened creatures and ships while I'm looking for prizes.

With regards to items walking off, I don't think anything came up missing. When an actual room and Courtney at the door, everything seemed to stay right there. Perhaps because it is in Wonderlab itself?

Anyhow, specifically, if anyone can find a Clone Wars Obi-Wan and Ahsoka I will reimburse them. Also any sort of action oriented Leia. I do have a Boushh, but perhaps another version as well? I felt really bad for not having more for the girls. Padme would also be acceptable, particularly a more action oriented version.

I will be bringing the ARC, but would love to get an X-Wing, Tie Fighter or similar. Any vehicles that are recognizable. I probably wouldn't offer much in the way of vintage vehicles, but if anyone has newer opened vehicles.

All of my newer vehicles are still sealed lol. I think I might have a vintage X-Wing and/or falcon I could bring. They're not in the best shape, so I would be ok with kids playing with it. I'll see if I can find some female figs as well. Surely I have an opened Leia or 2 somewhere in this house lol.

I just got an email from Staci letting us know that there will be snacks in the volunteer room, so we will not need to wory about bringing our own, unless we would want to.

    Hi everyone,

Had a great time and am sorry I could not stay awake longer and hang out with you.

Perhaps, next time, when I return in April.

The following is a post I put on the Bloodfin Boards.

I used it to promote the Hoosier Alliance by perhaps,
saying too many nice things about Eric.

I know that all of you worked and/or supported this event
    and I praise you all.

Eric has been a very good representative for you all to the Star Wars community in general,
so if I have gone over-board in this post, please forgive me:)

posted on the 501st Bloodfin Boards by me as follows,

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Much thanks to all for another fun opportunity (Sat-only) to troop with you

Special thanks to Dawn, for taking photo-s for me, I will get them to you
    somehow.

Also, much thanks to Wendy, who helped in many ways,
including keeping my armor on straight.

It is wonderful to be part of an event that brings together Star Wars
fans from various clubs. Always a goal of mine.

1970 was my first visit to the Bloomington, IN. area,
including Indiana University. That trip, and the ones to follow
(at least one a year since) have always seemed to be more and more
special. This event, is my example to you all as to why this Chicagoian
holds Indiana close to his heart.

1996 was my first encounter with Wonder Lab,
at a week long Indiana University event where
Wonder Lab presented a hands-on science lecture.
It was really nice to be able to support them and all they do
to bring real science to children of all ages.

I originally signed up for this event (Jan. 20) on the
    Hoosier Alliance fan-force boards

    http://boards.theforce.net/bloomingt...9699141/p1/?33

as there was not yet a thread about this here and as a member
of the HA, Eric (Echo-3) had asked me.

And so, lastly, I would like to thank Eric (Echo-3) for all of his
hard work as well. He has always talked to everyone about ways
to bring Star Wars fans together.

Evidence of Eric's work to keep Star Wars alive can be seen in
the monthly meetings which are pod-cast,

    http://podcast.hoosieralliance.com/

and in articles in local newspapers,
    http://www.idsnews.com/news/story.as...5289&comview=1

and in his actions, like his toast of good will and friendship
for future Star Wars events, which he made at the resturaunt we were
all at after the event last Saturday.

Well, that is all I can think of.

    again, thanks to all.
For me, this event was more than I could imagine.

    Ed
