~Chapter 3~


A thunderous smash echoed from behind their bedroom door.

?Oops . . .? Came a tiny voice,

?Woops . . .? was added by another.

Logan flinched as he heard the loud crash from the kitchen. The twins had been up probably for a good two hours and already they?d demolished something. Giggles and shouts filtered threw the walls. With a sigh Logan opened his eyes. Besides him Jaina still slumbered unaware of her children?s antics. He watched her for a moment savouring the temporary peace.

?Uh oh . . .? He heard Selena yell.

Another loud noise resembling the shattering of cutlery sounded again.

?You?re fault!? Symon exclaimed.

Logan smirked to himself remembering how much of a troublemaker he was at their age. He placed a gentle kiss on Jaina?s lips, then reluctantly got up to see what was happening in the kitchen.

Logan was yawning and stretching as he walked into the kitchen. What he saw made him stop suddenly. He wasn?t sure whether he should be serious or burst out laughing.

There in the kitchen covered in flour and eggs from head to two were Selena and Symon arguing over who should get the mixing bowl. The floor was littered with eggs shells, wooden spoons, bags of flour. But the most alarming thing to Logan was the shattered sharp pieces of plates and bowls.

?I do it!?
?No! I do it!?

Logan?s parental side came into action. Careful not to step on anything sharp he walked over to the pair, grabbed one in either arm and lifted them up from the ground. Slowly and cautiously he walked out of the kitchen and into the living room.

Logan sat them both down on the couch and kneeled in front of them to inspect their feet, whilst they continued to argue. He breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that neither of them had cuts of any kind.

?Mine!?
?Is not!?
?Is too!?

?Actually,? Logan interrupted, ?this bowl belongs to mummy and daddy.? He took the dish from their grasp and placed it to one side then went on to say, ?Now am I right in thinking that you two were trying to cook??

The twins nodded mutely in unison.

?I?m glad you wanted to help me and mummy by cooking breakfast, but, and this is a big but, you should have me and mummy be there when you?re doing something, especially cooking. Ok??

Again they nodded.

?Sorry daddy.?

?Alright then,? he kissed both of them on the cheek, ?now, daddy?s gonna cook and tidy up the mess you?ve made. Stay out of the kitchen and watch the HoloNet or something.?

Just as he rose to stand up he heard his wife exclaim,

?What the - ?!?

He walked back to the kitchen finding Jaina standing in the opposite doorway gaping at the mess on the floor. Even in her half-conscious state, with unruly curls of brown hair, wearing a tired looking expression and a rumpled nightgown she still managed to take his breath away.

Jaina was about to start cleaning up when Logan caught her attention,
?Don?t worry about it I?ll get L9 to clear it up.?
?Alright but those troublemakers are gonna get an ear full.? She managed to step over what appeared to look like a crash site in the kitchen. Logan stopped her by standing in her way,
?I spoke with them already don?t worry, they?re fine, just being . . well ya know, kids.? Jaina raised one eyebrow at him and said in a playful manner,
?Trying to save our darling children from my temper. Bad move Zex now I know your plan I might have to punish you. You?re being a bad boy.? Slowly he wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her close enough to whisper.
?Oh I am Mrs Zexton, extremely bad.? Jaina couldn?t stop the grin tugging at her lips.
?What shall I do with you??
?I?ve got a few ideas.? He couldn?t resist any longer as he leaned forward to capture her enticing lips with his own. At first the kiss was gentle and sweet, but it deepened quickly and the two were lost

If that wasn't a dream... is the kid Kyps?!?

And about Jaina's presumed pregnancy- It wasn't said that selena felt Jaina being pregnant. She may have asked about the baby after seeing Jaina/logan mush. She is little, but maybe she has already some ideas about where babies come from (and those ideas have nothing to do with storks )

Jaina was a huge B*tch in the first chapter and now she's normal. Logan is uber husband to two Jedi brats that aren't his own. The kids are extremely reminisent of Jaina and Jacen as tots. I can't wait to see what you plan on doing in the next post!!!!

 

Ok had a break from exam things, and couldn't stop writing! Its long and I apologize, but its Kyppie so no wonder i couldn't stop!!! Hehe! Enjoy! Please feel free to commment!

Chapter 4

?Your expression was hilarious!?
?That?s because Selena almost gave me a heart attack!?
?She was only saying that cause she saw the kiss.?

Again they laughed, as they stood side by side on the balcony enjoying the midnight sky. Jaina and Logan had got dressed into formal attire that they secretly loathed and dropped off the twins at their grandparents. Logan was opening a new restaurant and his father had pestered him to throw an opening party. The couple stood on the deserted balcony to get away from the guests. The celebrations were continuing loudly, as the people raved about the delicious food and the fine wines they were knocking back. To be truthful Logan hated parties, especially ones for show, but his father was persistent, and as always, got his way.

Logan took a sip of red wine and rose one of his dark eyebrows at her,
?So, to clarify . . .? Jaina smirked with amusement,
?Clarify what??
?You know what.?
?I?M ? NOT ? PREGNANT . . . there that clarified enough for ya Zex? Relax I think two kids is enough for us to handle at the moment, don?t ya think??
Logan grinned,
?I agree, the twins can keep us occupied for now.? Jaina chuckled,
?I wish I?d taken a picture of your face!?
?You?re gonna tell my father aren?t you??
?Now that is a thought.? Logan shook his head,
?As if he doesn?t have enough stories to embarrass me with already.?

?Excuse me,? a servant interrupted, ?your father wishes to speak with you for a moment.?
?Of course he does,? Sighed Logan, ?I?ll try and get back to you before two o?clock this morning, but if I don?t send a search party.? She kissed him lightly on the cheek,
?He?s not that bad . . . yet.? Reluctantly Logan went back inside to the large restaurant.

Being the host and owner of so many businesses meant Logan was often called away; he had a lot of responsibility, things to do and people to see. Interruptions between him and her were normal, they were annoying but they?d both learned to deal with it.

At that moment Jaina didn?t fancy going back in, she?s already socialised and danced, the balcony seemed to be a quiet haven she was happy to stay in.

As she gazed at the illuminated city she heard a presence walk up behind her. His shadow crept across the floor as he got closer until he was barely centimetres away from her. Without turning to face him she asked,
?Why can?t you just leave me in peace??

?You know why!? Kyp snapped back, ?Besides I didn?t want to be rude, after all it was your naïve husband who invited me. I understand that he knows nothing about me.?

Jaina turned around and hid her surprise to see him so close. Suddenly her dream from last night flashed threw her mind, the memory of what they had, the connection, but it was just a memory to her, they couldn?t go back, not now. Regaining her composure she glared at him darkly,
?Believe me when I say that you?re not worth mentioning. Now leave!? Kyp smirked at her irritation.
?Where would be the fun in that Goddess??
?Don?t call me that.? She warned him.
?Why not?? he leaned closer, Jaina was suddenly finding it difficult to breath, ?You want me to, I can feel it . . .?
?You don?t know what I want!? she pushed him away forcefully. ?I once wanted you dead. But you?re alive, if you want to stay that way I suggest you leave!?
?Why didn?t you kill me? I mean you had the opportunity, motive . . . what held you back from finishing the job? You had me on the floor in agony . . . and yet . . . you walked away, why??

Jaina diverted her gaze from his and turned back to the city view.
?Believe me; if I could go back I would have ended it! I would have killed you right then and there.?
?No you wouldn?t. I don?t believe you.? She confronted him,
?What do you know?!? Kyp didn?t even flinch as she shouted. Calmly he replied,

Oh man...Poor Kyppie. My heart's breakin for him.**reaches out and gives Kyp a big hug.** Poor Logan. I don't think I would have been as calm as him, though he must of known someday the kid's dad might show up. And then there's Jaina. She's in a mess all the way up to her neck now. Whos' gonna rescue her now from herself?? Another great post S_M. Too soon to ask for more I'm so hooked

I was right about Selena and Jaina's pregnancy! Yay!

So-Jaina left because she thought Kyp had been responsible for Jacen's death ...Well- she should have let him explain it before! (Bad Jaina) (Besides- Jacen was a jerk...)

And now we'll see if Logan really is so nice as he seemed...

But most of all I'm looking forward to Kyp's meeting with his children.

But wow, that whole scene was intense...

Why do I get the feeling Logan had no idea she was Jaina Solo and that she is a Jedi...
