It's time again for the event we've done for at least the last 2 years. The Nashvile Comic/Horror Convention will be held on October 8th & 9th at the Valley Expo Center, 144 Music Valley Drive, Nashville, TN across from the Opryland Hotel.
    Times are Saturday 10am - 5:30pm / Sunday 10am - 4pm

    http://www.comiccitytn.com/hfest05.html

I spoke to Mark Ballard at DragonCon and he's very enthusiastic about having the FanForce to show the Star Wars flag. Although he was a little mad that we won't be at the fairgrounds this year, but should be there in 2006.

    Celebrity guests will include:

Michael Berryman (The Hills Have Eyes)
    Robert Z'Dar (Maniac Cop)
Sharron & Clayton Hill (Dawn of the Dead)
    Jasmine Claire (ECW, Zombie Trigger)

    Artists include:

    Bob Burden (The Flaming Carrot)
    Eric Powell (The Goon)
    Phil Hester (Green Arrow)
    Joe Pruett (X-Men & Cable)

I'm going to be gone all this coming week and fairly busy at work for the rest of the month. Can anyone step forward and take the lead on this one? Can we count on the membership to man the table again? We did a great job last year, let's not lose the momentum.

I know it was cool when the 501st pulled double duty and helped out NAD manning the table last year! I hope we are in a closer vicinity than all the way across the room this time. I for one am happy about the location, it's closer to me :)
Will NAD members be able to sell goods if they man the table? or do we have to pay for the table then? i know a few members got asked a thousand times if things were for sale.........
Let's try to think of a good table, and times to man it. Any ideas?

The 501st was happy to help out last year, and will be there this year as well!

Shannon, I think this year we shall put you in the stormtrooper armor!

Shannon, bring a black body suit with you.
    You too, Joe.

I'm probably gonna wear my Mando both days, it would be a shame to let the Stormtrooper sit in the bin.

It's time you two got the armor experience.

Ya know with all the costuming Shannon does I am surprised she has never dawned any armor.
But the "keep her quiet" theory wont work if you qive her a bucket with a mic.

Dude I'm too damn skinny. It'd make the armor look bad. Now if I had some armor that fit and the lycra suit and neck seal and shoes... then yeah I'd don some armor to see what it's like. But beyond that I like having clones (even ones I've not met like at D*Con) refer to me as Lord Vader... that's just a kewl feeling.

trust me, you're not too skinny. A little padding here and there and nobody will know anything.

There might not be too many clone to call you Vader. Chase and I will Be mandos (He might put on the clone for kicks for a while) No telling what Skip will wear, could be Star Wars, might be Spawn, maybe Predator..Who knows? Lester should have his Mando ready.

Stormtroopers get lots of love at Horrorfest!

Maybe... but I've worked really hard and spent more than any tk kits I've seen out there to not wear this thing as much as humanly possible. I'll think about it anyway.

Oh dude, I understand! I didn't want to take my TK off after I finished it. But it's fun to change into something else for a while, 8 hours in the same costume kinda gets boring and old, unless you're at DragonCon!

I'm not saying for you to wear the TK instead of Vader, I'm saying, "Hey, at some point during the day how'd you like to be a trooper for an hour or two?"

But, I'm definately putting Shannon in it! She's been a little Jedi for too long. It's time to join the Darkside now!

Alright, what all would I need? Like I said a lycra body suit isn't just hanging around in my closet.

You need nothing. I have a Lycra body suit you can wear. Don't worry, it will be clean! One of you can wear it one day, I'll wash it, and the other can do the next.... allthough I'd bet shannon has a black body suit of some kind!

But, you can wear pink spandex if you want to...

Whatever.. you wouldn't have brought it up unless you wanted everyone to know about it. ;) Although now I think about it, I can't say that I blame your bringing it up here.. I half-expected Ryan to start an entire thread about that picture. :p
