Hoth Costumes for Parade

Coooool. Will poke around a bit. If anyone stumbles across (or happens to know) what vintage those are in the screencaps, let me know.

 

I think it would be cute if all us girls did this one, very close to Leia's costume, saves me from doing hats or a ton of hats. Then a few Trenchers and the Hanger one looks very easy almost store bought, again the hat? I have done a couple of hats, none wearable yet

I do in the future or maybe for C5 want to do the Trench Trooper, but with time restraints & being a gimp or a ReRe at this point in time, easy might be better.

Looks like we have 8 to 10 people interested, do I have that right?

So that would be a pretty good Hoth group and then the 501st has Snow Troopers, and we always need jedi and bounty hunters so we have a great start.

 

I'd like to do the trench trooper.

 

There is a Boba or three around here, and a little bird told me that a Bossk is being worked. Don't know if it'll be done by the parade.

 

While I would'nt mind a costume I think I might be driving this crazy thing around and I dont want to have somone go through the trouble of making me one if I'm in the truck the whole time.

 

Ok, you will be on the bottom of the list, you can at least wear a beige jacket or something

I would like to march in my Boba costume this year.

 

I'm interested, but again, I need some sort of cost idea. I'm assuming the jumpsuits can just be purchased, with maybe some modifications? They look like the rebel pilot flight suits. Where would I get one?

Didn't get terribly close on the headset yet, but I'm not at 100% researching power at the moment.

You can rest easy knowing that Jeff and Kim would never make a profit at the expense of their friends.

 

I think that doing a shirt and pants combo would be a good idea, especially for the needs of peeing. The vest hangs long enough that you wouldn't really be able to tell anyways.

 

The ability to pee freely is a very good thing.

I hate to admit this but I don't know how to ebay at all, and I didn't find any vintage headphones while trolling the surplus stores and thrift stores this weekend, I was wondering if someone would be willing to ebay me some headphones and I can pay them back right away!
