Does this App automatically detect any long and straight object and add a glow?

There's no transfer mode to these glows, they seem to be png's or something with an alpha channel.

You pinch out to render the blade in real time.
Then move into position,if you need shorter you pinch in.

Once in position you can go to setting and adjust the core thickness, glow intensity, glow color, and core color.
    So you have full flexability.
There is no auto detect. It's more of a entertainment App that will allow you to turn any said object into
a Laser Saber or Blaster. Like picking up a beer bottle and adding a saber blade.

    Here is a video demo.

It's really fun to do and you get really fast at it after a while.

Once you start stacking glow layers the possibilities are really up to you.
You can create so many glow types

While the glows are decent, the lack of transfer is personally bothersome. Especially in that last sample where it's a close-up next to the ground. Cool little app, though.

I think that's part of the reason the saber pops no matter that background.

This app is cool. It's good for getting super basic blades done quickly, but it would never replace a well done blade effect.

WhiteKnight, that glow in the first picture must be one of the best I've ever seen. Great job.

As for the app, looks good but really does need transfer modes.

ThetaSigma Thanks. I've been developing a new lightsaber rendering pipeline for Blender that does high quality blades fairly quickly. It's good to know I'm on the right track.
