11-3 now. Holy cow! I know it's against Detroit and KC, mostly, but they did sweep the White Sox. Pulled out the last two pretty late in the game.

I hate to be cynical here, but I've just had my hopes dashed too many times. They still have plenty of time to mess up that record. And they are not exactly on an even playing field payroll wise.

But I must say, I am very proud of what they've done so far. Go Twins!

 

Hey, I'm from New England, so I've been a Red Sox fan all my life. You don't know having your hopes dashed like I do!

 

You know the White Sox last year had a bunch of no-names and one of the lowest payrolls and won their division and had the best record in the league. However that season is long gone. And the Twins are playing some awesome ball. I am a Twins fan so it is diffently nice to see them turn their season around vs the last 5 years.

I came to visit your forum figuring you must have a thread about the Twins. I must say that I am impressed with them and would love to see them win the AL Central. Check out those Mariners too in the West. You also must be happy about Kirby and even Dave Winfield too, he is from Minn, right? 2 of my all time Fav Players.

I look foward to when the Twins play the Yanks soon. Yep, I am a Yankee fan

Radke is doing awesome this year. He's averaging over 8 innings per start!

A great game, if you leave out the rowdy fans in left field. They're lucky I wasn't there. I would have slugged someone.

 

I was pretty embarrassed about that myself. I've never felt ashamed to be a Twins fan... until last night that is. Not one but TWICE.

Hey, I despise what they did as much as anyone, but don't judge all of us (or even all the fans at the game) based on the actions of a few drunk losers.

 

I am not looking forward to those games in New York. I know the fans there will be bad, and it's a pity too, because it's the Twin FANS who are to blame, not the Twin's themselves.

Although I do not approve of what the Twins fans did, I can certainly understand it. Knoblauch is a jerk. He was a traitor to the team and he roughed up some kid who wanted his autograph. So I don't really feel bad about it either.

I am preparing myself for the cold-heartedness of tonight's Survivor finally.

 

Kansas City next....... we haven't had good luck against them. Well that's about to change! Go Twins!!!

 

I'm not much of a baseball fan, (not a popular state of being in MY city), but I just wanted to log in as officially being a Twins fan. It's always fun to root for an out of team - and here's one that's playing well, and needs to improve on some its fan base.
