    Still need to summon up enough $ for my fx saber. Can Sith have green? Guess so, since Anakin had blue!

    Anyone have any idea of where to get a graflex red button/glass eye blade screw for el/led blade? Or maybe how to make one.

    Lemme check my sources....Are you gonna use it for the actual blade or for an emitter?

    As a blade screw for an EL blade. To hold the blade in the hilt. Parksabers will not sell them to me. [image=http://www.buystarwarsstuff.com/images/graflexI-www/5.jpg]

    Does it have to be red? I found this: http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/sabers/Scripts/prodList.asp?idCatagory=31 Bah! it's not working. Just go to the custom saber shop and look around.

    I'm getting some great ideas for my own saber reading all this! I'm at some point going to try making a double bladed saber that can come apart. But that'll most likely not be my first one, I'll start with a single one.

    The way I have made mine was using the bottom part of a beach umbrella pole, the one with the little catch at the top. I cut the pole at a decent length to make a hilt, at the part with the catch, and then used a broom handle as the blade. I think it's by coincidence, but my wooden blade fits perfectly into the hollow hilt and the catch fastenes the blade veery securely.

    My problem is that I have only painted decoration on the hilt, and I haven't got screws or anything (only some superglue I think) to put some grips on. Any suggestions?

    You could get shower heads or sink drains for the emitters. You could put on duct tape. You could glue on leather lace for grips. Etc etc....It's your choice only you choose the path. Okay I sound too Jedi-like there.

    Ok here's a pic of my hilt as of now, with nothing but some paint on:

    [image=http://img85.imageshack.us/img85/8106/p10102098ux.jpg]

    Here's the hilt next to the wooden broom handle i'll use as the blade:

    [image=http://img85.imageshack.us/img85/710/p10102101bs.jpg]

    And here's the blade in the hilt (and it goes right in through the whole of the hilt):

    Comments/suggestions welcome :D

    Paint the broom handle unless you want a brown saber:D
