How can I make a stargate goa'uld staff weapon

    Anyone have any ideas as to how to make a goa'uld staff weapon? Or a Zatn?kitel (Zat Gun) for that matter. For the staff weapon, it seems a large amount of it could be made out of pvc, but then again I could have no clue as to what I am saying. I don't even know what could possibly be used for the Zat, so any insight would be appreciated.

    I did a staff out of PVC, styrofoam, wood and a lot of paint and cussing. If you just want something for halloween or some kind of party where you don't have a lot of folks being overly critical then you can make one pretty cheap but it will either be in the closed or open position. The ASAP board has a big SG-1 section on it but I haven't been on there for a few months. Trying to keep up with all the different boards is just to much work for me.
    As for the ZAT I think that would make for a neat project for someone to come up with. I started to do one with wood but I just don't have the right tools for the job.
