In Episode 4, Luke can ask Ob-Wan how his father "died", but he never gets around to asking what his name was. I would have thought that Luke would be more curious about that, but I guess Lucas had to keep that out of the movie, because we aren't supposed to know Anakin is Vader until Epidsode 5.

How would Luke knowing Anakin's name help him deduce that Anakin was Vader? For all we know he did know his name and was told by Ben or by Owen or Beru. :)

Probably because Luke knew it. It's not like he didn't ever ask Owen or Beru about his parents. I'd bet he knew that his mom was named "Padme Amidala" too.

Then he would of asked Leia in ROTJ if she remembered Padme, instead of her real mother b.s.

Bot if Lucas hadn't thought of Padmes name.

That makes no sense. It makes no logical sense, and it makes no dramatic sense. Also, Lucas had not named Luke's mother at this point.
