How cool is Karrde?

Is it just me, or is Talon Karrde just incredibly cool? I think he deserves more prominance--you know, kind of like how Corran Horn got his own book in I, Jedi (who I also love, by the way). I was just reading Timothy Zahn's duology (you know, Spectre of the Past, Vision of the Future) and it struck me how incredibly cool Karrde is. He should get his own book or something pertaining to the smuggling dangers he faces.

But I would not call him cool, to me his is more...smooth

 

He's so cool you could keep a side of meat in him for a month.

He's so hip he has trouble seeing over his own pelvis.

I love that! But yeah, he's just so...great. Like you said, he's smooth. He gets stuff done yet doesn't take sides. I always liked Jedi best but with Karrde I'll make an exception.

That was stolen from the movie "Heist", but methinks it fits Talon to a "T". hehe.

Yeah he's cool. If I had to be a character in StarWars I'd like to be a Smuggler Ring boss like him.

 

one of the admins or the mods refered to Karrde as "the male Mara Jade". But Tim Zahn himself said that the inspiration for the character was Han Solo. he imagined that Han would have become what Karrde is had he not met Luke and Leia and the Rebellion. personally i agree with him.

Karrde is very cool. He does deserve his own book. I wish I could think of a title for it.

He is so cool he makes Coolio look like regular Io... Okay, I'll be the first to admit I don't know what the heck that means. But he's still really cool.

Karrde is cool enough to make Wampas shiver. Seriously, though: he has to be my favorite character in the EU. He's just... suave. My favorite character, though, would have to be Lando. Sorry.

Oh yeah, Karrde is that cool. I would love to read a book just about him, but what would it be about? Do you guys know anything about his life b4 the NR?
