How did Anakin/Vader get the scar???

In ROTJ when Luke takes Vaders mask off there is a rather bug scar on his head. How did he get it?
I wouldn't think lava would make a perfect scar like that. It looks like a wound from a Saber or maybe lightning.
Thoughts?

 

I'm guessing Obi-Wan WHOOPED him.

Whatever it is (most likely Obi-Wan) we'll see in three years. But like all his other scars, it'll probably be a remnant of his duel with Kenobi, perhaps a lightsaber wound as Obi-Wan wouldn't use lightening.

I think he came home late one night after corousing with all of his Jedi friends and Padme decided she's had enough and smacked him upside the head with a rolling pin.

I heard that Anakin and Obi fight on a lava planet for the climax of epIII.He problably gets his scars from that battle.

 

If memory serves, the scar was convex at some points... almost cylindrical if you could look at it from a dead-on perspective. I always figured he got whacked in the head with a lightsaber...but, visually, that might be a *bit* too violent for a PG Movie. Dunno, depends on how graphic the depiction is if I'm right

If we knew exactly what made Vader have to wear the black suit, then we'd know exactly why he has that scar.

Kanobi knocks him off a platform of some type or off a cliff. This would be the final blow that would end the lightsabre duel between Anakin and Kanobi.

 

obi wan and anikin get in a fight and obi wan gives him the scar

 

Kanobi would not give a blow to his head, its not his nature.

 

I read somewhere that Vader's injuries were consistent with a broken neck. The scar on his cheek might be from Obi-wan's saber slash; but I think he might fall, land on his head and break his neck. He'd practically crack his head open.

 

It's gonna be sweet to see him fall into the molten pit.

 

I'm sticking with my theory that a majority of Anakin's wounds are caused by Palpatine. I'm thinking that that scar and many other scars on his head is caused by electrocution. MAYBE a lightsaber.

Yes, it's probably because Obi-wan owns Anakin to some extent in that battle, but the reason that Ani's gonna get owned is because he'll be fighting with a head of clouded emotion. Not to say that it's not a bad thing, i'm sure good ol' Obi-Wan's going to take his lumps, but Anakin's clouded mind will be his undoing. It'll screw up his connection to the force, or at the very least, cause him to make sloppy mistakes.
