Ah, how those scenes got me through those teen years.

 

The reason Luke looks the way he does in Empire and Jedi is that Mark Hamil had a pretty bad car accident between SW and Empire. Thus, why his face looks...Haggard. And Carrie Fisher looked pretty darn good to me. But if you need an explanation on her looks then consider that by this point she was dabbing already in alcohol and drugs.

AH PMT99 the power of slow motion. YOu'll never see it in full speed. I didn't discover it someone put it in a thread a while ago. However I have confirmed this *cough* a few times. It's the scene where she and Luke swing off Jabba's barge as they land. Right before "Let's go and don't forget the droids."
