What was Wocky's least favorite Will Smith movie? Because then you could just say how awesome that movie was.

I Are: Undoubtedly the worst Will Smith movie is Hancock. Wild Wild West the film was not very good, though the music video with Sisqo helps redeem that franchise to a respectable level. Men in Black 2 was a quite anemic effort but that's entirely Tommy Lee Jones's fault.

 

But everyone liked Hancock when it was rebranded as Man of Steel... weird...

 

I actually really loved Hancock and thought it was Smith's best performance besides I Am Legend.

 

I would have agreed with that statement, except Hancock is actually a more entertaining movie than Man of Steel.

 

One is about a supposed superhero that drinks alcohol and another is about one who kills more people than the villains he's fighting, so they are quite alike in that respect.

Ditto. Hancock gets a lot of unreasonable hatred. It's passable yet eminently quotable.

I wouldn't say it's his best performance. I've liked him in his serious roles as well. But it is a solid action comedy, with a lot of heart. And it manages to be less depressing than Man of Steel, despite materialising the unwritten 'hero can never be with his love'-rule of comic book fiction into an actual plot point.

 

I liked that Smith shedded his likeable persona to play someone with self-loathing.

 

Jabba-wocky, I have been more vigilant than anyone else in my comments about Margaery and Will Smith. Return to me that #1 spot, which I rightfully earned!

see, i'm number one because 1)we were once sort of allies in our asoiaf causes (though it was he who did not come to arya's defense when she needed it most) and 2) i pick my spots. you guys go on and on. it's too over the top. wocky is desensitized and just rolling his eyes at this point. but if i say one thing he completely loses it. it's all about picking your spots.
