I have my vintage figures on stands and inside little individual acrylic cases. I do put the weapons in my figures hands, I just like the look of the figures being posed with their weapons better than just standing there. I personally don't care if the hands do get stretched as I don't ever intend on selling my figures. I'll probably just give them all to my son one day.

I have my vintage figures mixed in with my new figures and in certain instances I have them as part of dioramas I've created. I don't worry about the 'hand-stretching' problem as I also don't intend to sell them. I even had one of my vintage Boba Fett's repainted with Jango's colors, but that's me. My advice is do with them what you will. If you're uncomfortable with putting their weapons in their hands then don't. Nothing wrong with planning on selling your figures one day and if that's the case then keep them in the condition that will bring top dollar.

My vintage figures don't even have weapons. My brother gave me his when I was 5, and I lost all of the accessories.

I guess when you're 5, things get lost fast.

I pose my loose vintage figures with their accessories. I'd rather look at the accessories than just know I have them packed away somewhere. My TIE Fighter Pilot will not hold his gun, however. Does anyone else have this particular or type of problem and what are your solutions?

Tie the weapons to their hands with fishing wire.

Is that the real Yakface in there? that ones a b!7ch to find complete like that! (of course you can use barada's weapon, but even thats a $25 figure) So did you put a slit down the back of the card, or reseal the bubble entirely? Are those the original POTF2 cards, or are they customs!? What kind of glue did ya use? So many questions! I have been inspired ;) great collection, man. Massive props to ya

Oh, cool website by the way. Love the joker collection!

There are all sorts of ways to display your figures but it depends on if they are carded
or not and if you have enough wall space to
display them. I wish that I had more wall space :(

So sad but true! Most people who see my collection, wonder if I my room has walls... So many carded figs, you cant see any wall! And to top it off, I just started "star-case"ing all of my figs. I'm up to 164 cases(still need almost 300 more) and when your using the star cases, you cant overlap the card like I used to do. Lose even more space that way...

I have every carded figure starting with the Orange Cards....I used to have them tacked up to my wall with a tiny nail...when I moved everything to another room...I decided to just put them in those big, clear plastic storage boxes and put a label on the cases as to what series was inside...the boxes can be stacked.....the one thing that I noticed is that the new blue carded figures are just so much larger than all the previous series of carded figures that you can't fit nearly as many figures into each plastic case...

I also have a bunch of loose figures...they are just displayed in the open with their weapons in hand....

All I did was cut around the bottom of the bubble, pull out the insert, and pop the vintage fig in the insert, then jam the insert back into the bubble and Bickity Bam!!! Vintage figs on POTF2 (or whatever) card!!!
Not difficult, but in my opinion, a great way to display Vintage figs!

Thanks, all for the great compliments!

I have several hundred loose figures stuffed into 2 glass cases and another 200 plus as a border around the room ( must buy the Theater Luke figure to complete the collection) If you have space issues you may want to look at my website. It might give you a few options and ideas :)

that's really cool stuff, NotClownJOKER. i'm impressed. that yak face is making me green with envy.

i try to have all my figures (both vintage and new) displayed with weapons and in dioramas whenever possible. since i haven't completed a lot of the dioramas i'd like (lots of ambitious plans), i end up displaying them sort of the way CrazyMike does. except he has a lot more stuff.
