How do you like your life forms?

In the books, would you rather see more diverse life forms? For example, most races are rather bland -- either humanoids, or big lizards, or big insects. Occassionally someone like Bear gets really creative, but not often. So do you want to see more innovative, interesting life-forms, or do you feel that all that description draws you out of the story, and are perfectly happy with the aliens that have already been introduced into the EU?

 

a splash of new nonblandness everynow and then is ok...otherwise....having it all the time would be a little distracting.

How about facedown, bowing, chanting, and building me temples?

 

Gnomes. Gnomes sell. Little people building ships, temples, and such. No ones thought of gnomes, and what ever happened to garden gnomes on the lawn of the jedi temple?

 

I want to see some blobs. Some author should come up with a really cool name for them, and they will essentially be masses of floating jelly with eyes. Blobs all the way!!!

 

Something with more or less than 5 fingers and 5 toes. A mouth on the belly would be cool, and have no head but 4 eye stalks. And they'd be as cute a kittens.

 

kittens don't have four eyes and such. I see, maybe its from spying on Chiss dude so much? I've fixed the problem, I hope, and my speling is improving. I'm sure that YOU, Keir the Great, has made spelling errors before.
