If they do make some sort of story of Princess Leia's Death, what do you want it to be like? Old Age, assassinated, murdered, sacrifice?

Old age, in her sleep. Like Mon Mothma.

Same. She's shouldered a lot in her career as a politician, rebel leader, and mother. It's the least she deserves.

To either die with Han, on the Falcon, at peace...

    or

Leia dies in battle, but her Force Ghost appears to Han on the Falcon as he is about to die, and Han can actually see her.

Killed by a new, female Sith Lord who is then revealed to be Leiaa, her evil twin clone! O:)

Well argued. I'm pretty sure that's how it will go down though. Luke will die redeeming Leiaa, and Han...Han will conveniently forget Leiaa is not Leia.

I would much rather her die than continue flying around the galaxy with her lightsaber as an 80 year old woman

Agreed, old people are generally pretty worthless.

And young people are worthy? All they do is take and contribute nothing. And have never done so. Your attitude is crap. People are not numbers.

OD by space-coke. Lots and lots of space nose candy. A big white mountain of space-cain.

If that's not of your liking then how about either in her sleep or something suitably heroic.

That was most definitely sarcasm on Calamari's part. Unfortunately, your poor response as to the worthlessness of young people was not, and is the more problematic post of the two.

I was sarcastically critiquing the attitude that beloved characters should be killed off so we don't have to deal with the reality that even heroes get old.

edit: I can't really think of a way to "heroically" kill off the Big Three that wouldn't seem like a retread of every other heroic sacrifice ever, and I think Luke, Han, and Leia deserve better than that.

I see what you're saying but there's different types of heroism. Soldiers, and athletes, and teachers can all be considered heroes. Leia has a lot to impart.

My gramm was one of my best friends, she was so smart funny and insightful. I was so sad when she died, she was precious to me.

Who said they should be killed off?
    Just let them retire.

the point is having an 80 year old woman getting in lightsaber duels and what not is ridiculous. She's probably got wicked osteoporosis,

Technically that war criminal, child-snatcher "Ambassador" Furgan was responsible for her deteriorated condition.

From the looks of it, Leia will die from a sudden and unexpected Carrie Fisher-ening. The corpse will be horrid.

If I was horrid I'd say it happens after Leia looks in the mirror in Episode 7 and realises she has suddenly aged 30 years when in the last novel she was still looking like 40.

Cue horrified gasp and then death.

But that's actually quite nasty to Carrie to compare her to a fictional character where 60-is-the-new-40, so I probably should keep my mouth shut. :p
