how durable are stormtrooper suits?

    Please clarify. I assume you are talking about costumes and not the actual "in the movie real TK suits".

    From there, it all depends. The balsa wood, is it a dowel rod? Sheet? How thick? etc.

    The suit, is it ABS, styrene? How thick? Where are you hitting? etc.

    Common sense says "no" but given the right situation it wouldn't dent, but possibly crack.

    Mines ABS and I've taken a pretty good hit from an FX saber a time or two. I also have fallen down and hurt myself more than the suit.

    Personally, I'd prefer never to find out what it would take to dent, scratch, or damage my investment, I mean, armor...
