How Finished 3P0..???

This was one area of AOTC that I heavily anticipated and yes, unfortunately was disappointed.
I was shocked when Anakin and Padme return to Tatooine and find a completed 3P0.
I remember rummors that Padme would finish him or something like that...
that obviously couldnt' have happened...
Just don't like the idea of Owen doing it....

I believe there was a scene where Padme was supposed to finish 3PO, but it was cut. I think it would have been nice, as you could get insight into Padme's true feelings for Anakin.

I believe the offical explaination is that Shmi Skywalker put the coverings on.

The official site said something about Padme putting C3P0's coverings on, and the OT video release with the Episode II preview has Anthony Daniels talking about filming the same scene.

Even official spoilers can't be trusted...

 

They did film the scene of Padme putting them on, but when they cut out the scene, they redid the CGI for 3PO when they first got to Tatooine. It was mainly to reduce the amount of "How did he get his coverings halfway through the scene?"

 

I think that the Lars had put coverings on C-3po. any way who else would have finished him.

 

Yeah, Shmi or Owen probably did it.
