PT How have people who troll the prequels affected your love of the movies?

I actually used to like the prequels much better than I do now. After listening to so many criticisms of it, I watched AOTC on television and realized for myself that everything that had been said so far was actually true. Some of this is good to hold a higher standard too.

 

Standards are subjective, though. Unless you're talking about the broadcast quality or something.

 

Yes, it's all definitely subjective, but when people say the PT are the worst movies ever, they've not watched truly awful movies! If you look at what Cenima Snob reviews, you've not seen bad movies!

The Last Airbender was the worst movie I've ever watched, everything about it was just awful, especialy since I loved Avatar: The Last Airbender. For all hte people who said Hayden Christensen was horrible, at least we had good actors like Natalie Portman and Ewan McGregor who did the best they could with Lucas' script, they tried really hard and it shows (I've always criticized the dialogue in the PT, as I feel it was the main weakness of the movies) in the PT, I can say anyone did a good job in The Last Airbender, nobody could act in that movie and the dialogue was horrible by comparison to the PT.

 

The Transformers series by Michael Bay is far, far, far worst than the PT...

I say HC is the best actor in the entire saga. The most was asked and the most delivered. The scripts were excellent and the dialogue some of the best in movie history.

The story Lucas wanted to tell was done precisely to that degree.

No one has ever had more control over their own story in movie form.

 

I thought Hayden was fine, he got the short end of the dialogue stick though.

 

Yeah me too. His character was written the way it was and some people didn't liked that. But that wasn't his fault, he was just doing his job.

 

They have made me love them more.

 

Good. All the projected judgement regarding different perception and taste is ridiculous anyway regardless what quarter it comes from. Difference doesn't automatically inherently equal denseness, lack of understanding, lack of worth or belonging as a fan or any of the nonsensical claims I see all sides throw around.

I too, cling the more tightly to my perceptions and beliefs regarding the Saga the more ridiculous the claims I have hurled at me.
