Lit How long was the Clone Wars?

    Yup. In the RoTS novelization- people are already pointing out how dictatorial Palpatine's rule is. And other Clone-Wars era material mentions the reduction of individual rights.

    Yup, it's one of the things I love about the Clone Wars material from 2002-2005, you have this slow and steady malign influence spreading everywhere.

    I've always considered it three years, but I wonder if its three years plus a few months....

    This thread makes me think back to the good old pre-AOTC days, when the Star Hyperspace War comic was first announced around the same time as AOTC's title, and people wondered if the SHW was going to be the first of the Clone Wars and the movie was going to be a later one.

    See also M*A*S*H, which I think ran four three times as long as the actual Korean War...

    M*A*S*H ran for eleven seasons. The Korean War was three years long.

    No wonder everybody on that show was so desperate to get out of there.
