    Hi, all.

Curious.....how many full-price and discount tickets do you plan to buy for Episode III?

For TPM, I paid $9 three times, and paid $2.00 three times (this is a "discount house")

For AOTC, I paid $9 once, and $2.00 three times (again "discount house).

I will buy one student-priced ticket for opening night.

If I enjoy the film and feel like seeing it again, I will buy more for later screenings.

As I have not seen it yet I find it difficult to predict how many times I'll see it.

It must be my DVD buying habits, but no matter how cool a film is, I usually can wait until it screens at the local run-down-but-cheap discount theatre.

"Star Wars" and "Matrix Reloaded/Revolutions" seem to be the only exceptions I can foresee.

    Well, I saw TPM 18 times - 8 regular and 10 discount

    I saw AOTC 14 times - 5 regular, 7 discount, and 2 IMAX

I will be married for III, so I would think 4 regular price (2 for each of us) and then probably no more than 3 discount.

Hey, since I'd be paying, can I count her viewings toward my total? ;)

I don't remember exactly what I paid for TPM (I saw it thrice). I'm pretty sure it's less than what I paid for AOTC.

    6.50 (Regular price) X 4 = $26 for AOTC

If the pattern holds, I'll probably be paying an exorbitant amount (probably $8.00 per ticket) for five tickets for Episode III.

I asked this question because I'm realizing how much I *like* a film based on what my movie habits are.

There are just fewer movies nowadays I'm willing to pay "full-price" for more than once.

However, I can pay $2 or $2.50 and see "Lord of the Rings" or "Star Trek Nemesis" more than once.

Just one, probably. I'm going to be really strapped for cash in 2005, and can hardly afford to plunk down 10 dollars per show for a movie. :(

I usually go to the earliest showing opening day, when you get matinee prices, if I can't make it to the midnight showing, or I'm low on money. You can see it twice in day showings for every evening show.
