Episode III ended by only showing two Jedi left. Do you think we'll find out in Episode IV that more survived?

I think there's going to be about 4-10 left. Why? It's because I think we need to see Anakin kick some ass from the Darth Vader suit. ROTS ended with him just being suited up... so we have to see him in action killing some Jedi. Not a lot; I think the main focus should be on Obi-Wan, Yoda, and the twins... but just a few to show how powerful he has become now that he has joined the dark side.

I think Mace survived as well. It wasnt certain that he died, and plus he survived a bigger fall in Eppy 2. Hes the second most powerful jedi around, he cant be dead!

Well we only saw a few jedi die, I'm pretty sure that quite a few of them survived and managed to stay hidden. I wonder if we will see some kind of resurrection of the jedi order, just like the Sith managed to finally get revenge.

Because the arena is such a further fall than hundreds of kilometers to the surface of Coruscant...

I say 4 - 10. I bet a few of them managed to hide for 20 years. Vader can't be everywhere.

Oh, and Mace is so dead.

If Anakin can grab onto a passing speeder falling through Coruscant, so can Mace (with his good hand).

    I say 4-10 but WITHOUT Mace! He's 100% dead!

Wasn't there a book where a few more Jedi (like 3) survived Order 66? I think that's all of them. Otherwise Order 66 would be pointless.

Well I'm sure a few survived, I mean they're spread out all over the place aren't they? Vader seemed like he meant business, I don't think he'll stop at Order 66. I can't wait to find out how many we do get to see though!

    I agree.

Plus, the Order 66 scene in ROTS was so serious and tear jerking that it's clearly designed to fool us into thinking they all got KO'd.

I think Episode IV might open with Obi-Wan finding all the Jedi he can to build his army.

Bah! What I'd like to see is Vader to find any few remaining Jedi and take them on as HIS apprentices. He'd forgo the whole two-sith-only rule. Make them strong enough to help him take over the emperor's position, off the geezer, resurrect Padme's body and turn her all cyborg like him.

I only want two Jedi to survive.

    Jedi Etain Tur-Murdan
    Jedi Bradon Jusk

And I hope that both will leave the order prior to ROTS and give up their forcepowers therby saving their lives.

So long as they don't die, then all is cool.

Though i can see a certain clone killing Etain, but hopefully that won't happen and hopefully there will be a 3rd RC book!

Mace survived and when he returns to seek his revenge, he will have a hook and talk like a pirate.

That was a helluva long fall. But if Palpatine can hide his true identity for 10 years then I don't see why Mace can't land that fall.
